The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

11. WILDFIRE

The oil rig on which David is working is set ablaze by a saboteur who soon finds himself face-to-face with the Hulk.

Guest Stars:
Christine Belford
Billy Green Bush
John Anderson
Dean Brooks

My Thoughts:
This is a good episode. I enjoyed the story... I like all the characters. When David got together with the boss's daughter I had a certain scene from Armageddon running through my mind!  I thought the way they did the oil rig fire was amazing... I was transfixed on watching it.

My Thoughts:
This episode is alright... not a favorite though. I found I didn't care too much about the characters. Though I did like the wooded area that this one was taped in.

Guest Stars:
Tony Burton
Ernie Hudson

This episode is alright... but nothing I found too compelling. Just an average, standard episode. It was pretty cool to see a young Ernie Hudson... 5 years before his Ghostbusters role.

That was my reaction as well. But as Britt has now told me... there seems to be a red Hulk out there in the comics. as well as other colors. But it is a totally different scientist that turns into the Red Hulk...

True, I know there was a grey Hulk too and there's something about how intelligent his is in relation to the colour.

The above is the first time I ever seen the red Hulk... I must admit... he does look Pretty cool. But it still wouldn't have been right for David Banner turning into a red Hulk.

The guy also said in the featurette... that a good 30 years later and he still has clothes that has Lou Ferrigno's green make-up on it. As they had to use green grease paint for make-up and even though it was great for scenes in the water... it got all over everything! :P

Jon Lormer

My Thoughts:
This is one of my all time favorite episodes! I loved the atmosphere they added to the story. I liked all the characters. And the storyline is great. I had never gotten this far into this DVD set before today... so it has been many years since I seen this one.

The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

15. MYSTEREY MAN (Part 1)
Airdate: Mar. 2, 1979
David, who is suffering from amnesia caused by an earlier accident, and his nemesis, Jack McGee, are the only survivors of a violent plane crash, and David struggles to carry the injured man to civilization.

Guest Stars:
Victoria Carroll
Don Marshall
Howard Witt
Skip Riley
Barbara Tarbuck

My Thoughts:
This is the first of a two part episode that I enjoyed. It is actually a clip show... but the way they did the clip show really works. I especially like the story they used to put all the clips together. David in an accident... face all bandaged and has amnesia. He in the woods after another accident with an injured Jack McGee. Who tells him the story of his search for the Hulk.

The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

16. MYSTEREY MAN (Part 2)
Airdate: Mar. 9, 1979
The action heats up when a forest fire surrounds David and McGee on their quest to find help after the plane crash.

Guest Stars:
Howard Witt
Michael Payne
Bonnie Johns
Cari Anne Warder
Barbara Tarbuck

My Thoughts:
Part 2 is just as good... if not better then the first. I enjoyed every second of it. Though I must admit while I was mostly remembering right I seen there was a few differences in what I remembered of this episode from when I watched it as a kid. While still having some flashbacks... this one was more about them getting out of the forest fire.

The Incredible Hulk: Season 2

17. THE DISCIPLE
Airdate: Mar. 16, 1979
Returning to Li Sung for guidance, David helps a struggling police officer to see the blind philospher's wisdom.

Guest Stars:
Rick Springfield
Gerald McRaney
George Loros
John Fujioka
Mako

My Thoughts:
I found this one to be a very interesting episode. It was pretty cool going back to revisit a character from a previous episode. I liked all the characters in this one. And it was also cool to see Gerald McRaney (Major Dad) in another episode as well. I think this is like the 3rd  or 4th episode I have seen him in now. As I said... I found the story very interesting. I also think it would have made a nice pilot for a new series for the cop turned Private Investigator that took over  Li Sung's teachings.

You have Rick Springfield as a guest star and you don't even mention the many great musical hits he had in the eighties.

I'm shocked... I really am :P

The Hulk unwitingly helps a dangerous criminal escape from the authorities, and David works to correct his alter ego's mistake.

Guest Stars:
James Wainwright

My Thoughts:
This is a decent episode. Just average really. Nothing that special about this one. Though it was good to see a young Sherman Hemsley (The Jeffersons) in this episode though.
