If fims aren't released in the cinema in some countries until after they are already out on DVD in others then a lot of people just turn to piracy and download high qaulity copies of the film after having to wait so long.
(click to show/hide)It isn't that is it is bad. And what Andy did was really nice..but still is so sad to me. I didn't see that happening at all. I thought maybe there would be ...hmm...like maybe a montage set to a song showing Andy graduating..getting married..having children. Then he'd go get the toys out of the attic and give them to his kids. What happened does work and is very sweet in its own way. But still. I want Andy to keep them.

(click to show/hide)From what I read Lee Unkrich said, that they did want to close the series with this film. I guess that point is made stronger if the toys are removed from Andy, as he was an integral part of the whole proceedings, the motor behind Woody's motivation. Had they toys stayed with him the feeling of closure wouldn't have been there. On the good side, apparently next year's short film to be shown in front of Cars 2 will feature the toys again

Maybe not as much, but still something. And Bonnie is a sweet little girl who has the same type of imagination that Andy had as a child..so she will have all sorts of fun with them. But..well. I still don't like that Andy doesn't have them. I know it works for the story and all. I just would have liked it better. That's me being a big emotional wimp I guess. lol I did read that about the characters being in shorts. That could be really cool. I'm thinking that maybe it will be something like the first several mintues of the movie...a version of some adventure Bonnie comes up with for the toys. Her other toys seemed like cute characters too even though they weren't in much.
