I'd love to see you this year break your October up into themed blocks. Perhaps a week of kaiju? Make Friday nights silent-horror nights. There are enough subcategories that you could easily do it without constraining yourself.

I was actually thinking about something like that. But I am just afraid I wouldn't be able to stick with it. Because if I make a weekly sub-category something like..

Mondays: Ghosts/Hauntings
Tuesdays: Zombies
Wednesdays: Horror in Black & White
Thursdays: Vampires
Fridays: Silent Horror (Though not sure I would have enough... may have to group with B&W)
Saturdays: Werewolves
Sundays: Anything Goes

OR anything like the above... By the second, third or 4th Monday I may not be in the mood for ghost stories. Now... maybe go on the fly a daily thing like...

Oct. 1st: Anything Goes (Hey... first day... I would want to sample a little of everything!:P
Oct. 2nd: Silent Horror (I should have enough for 1 day)
Oct. 3rd: Vampires
etc... etc... etc..

Then I can make multiple days of whatever as the mood hits. But I would also think I would only do this for movies.. as probably be very difficult for TV Series episodes and Other categories.

Or maybe do multi-themes per day...

Oct. 1st:
Movies Theme: Anything Goes
TV Series Theme: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (or another show and save Buffy for a vampire day)

but you get the idea.

BTW... excuse my ignorance... but what is kaiju:bag:

BTW... excuse my ignorance... but what is kaiju:bag:

Giant monster movies (Wikipedia says the correct term is daikaiju, but I've seen just "kaiju" used). So basically Godzilla, Gamera, King Kong, Cloverfield, etc.

Drop the bold formatting after the image. Having everything bold reduces the impact and potentially makes it less appealing to the eye overall.

More like this?...

Today's Themes:
Movie Theme:
TV Episode Theme:
Anthology Horror
Tales from the Crypt

Count:
Movie Count:
TV Ep. Count:
Other Count:
Time Started:

Title:Tales of Terror
Year: 1962
Director: Roger Corman
Rating: NR
Length: 89 Min.
Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35:1, Pan & Scan 1.33:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital: Mono
Subtitles: French, Spanish

Stars:
MorellaVincent Price
Maggie Pierce
Leona Gage
The Black CatVincent Price

Plot:
This triple treat of terror is a three-episode "blood-dripping package that includes murder, necrophilia, dementia, live burials, open tombs, exhumation, resurrection, zombies and feline vengeance," resulting in nothing less than "juicy entertainment" and "spine-chilling cinema" (Cue). Mix in three of horrordom's greatest villains, Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Basil Rathbone, and you've got a shocker you dare not watch alone!

Price stars in all three episodes, including Morella, in which a man is haunted after blaming his young daughter for the death of his wife. In The Black Cat, a pair of illicit lovers are buried alive by a jealous husband, and in The Case of M. Valdemar, a sorcerer's spell backfires when he sentences an innocent man to living hell.

or does it still need something? I was thinking of making the red in bold... but seem to have problems getting that to work.

Keep the bold on any film title, and put a space between the image and the info.

That's looking much better Pete. Not as harsh on the eyes, and it's much easier to jump straight to a section (e.g. Plot) with that formatting.
