You are brave to sit through this.  Though, just wondering..what made you get it to begin with?

What can I say... I'm a collector.  :-[  Sometimes there is no rhyme nor reason for my purchases but for this particular exercise I'll say it's because I'm a fan of Dan Aykroyd and want to collect his movies. Yeah, that's it!!

Ok.  I can understand that.  I have some DVDs that others probably would question my sanity over.

I'm sure everyone has movies like that in their collections. It's all about perception and taste really. I'm willing to give any movie a chance via an initial viewing, regardless of any bad reviews it has received. Of course that results in having to sit through some truly detestable films. Those dogs make you appreciate the decent movies that much more.

That is very true.  I am usually willing to give a movie a chance too...and more than not, I don't agree with critics.

Of course, I'm the guy who bought (for almost nothing) all the Friedberg and Seltzer's movies to do a stupid marathon here.

I'm surprise that no one else didn't try this experience after me

Are Friedber and Seltzer the ones responsible for Date Movie and those stinking messes?

I've tried to block out those movies.  At least I saw them on cable and didn't pay specifically for them.

I have this same movie... bought it when the video store I managed went out of business... so I blind bought it without even barely looking at the cover. I didn't even take note of who it was on the cover. It was the last day of the going out of business sale and was one of the last movies left in the store... and the owner said I had my pick of what was left at like rental price (a dollar or two)... so I just grabbed several without barely looking at the cases.  When I got home... checking out what I had in my bags... I pulled out Crossroads and realized that one of the girls was Britney Spears... and put it on my shelf.... I still haven't watched it. That was like 5 years ago.

Oh how familiar that sounds. I through a few year where I would browse bargain DVD and pretty much anything with an interesting cover (i.e. a pretty face)..

Some turned out to be gems (The Quiet).. others.. well..
