Work is getting crazy again.  I will be working a lot of hours over the next few weeks..next week I'm scheduled for 55 hours, and 72 the week after that.  So.  I will just about only have time to come home, take a shower, have a snack, and go to sleep ...so I can get up and go work another 12 hour day.  I worked like 11 hours yesterday and almost 10 today.  It just depends on how busy we end up getting.  If it isn't as busy some evenings, I'll be able to leave earlier.

I may not be around here for a little while..and unfortunately work is interfering with my movie watching.  How dare it. ;)
I'll stop by when I can for a few minutes.  Maybe I'll manage to get something watched that I can post about.

I'm sorry to hear about the craziness that you will be experiencing over the next few weeks Marie.

Be sure and take extra care of yourself because that kind of stress can wreck havoc if aren't diligent on eating right and getting adequate rest.

I usually don't get too stressed.  Every year there are a few weeks of longer hours and then it slows back down some.

I may have mentioned here that I started doing the bookkeeping stuff back around September.  It is payroll stuff for us and we do some stuff for a few small companies.  Quaterly tax returns and all.  Well today I found out from my manager - she is the other one that does the bookkeeping - that the computer with all that on it got hit with a virus and everything on the hard drive is lost.  Most of the bookkeeping stuff is backed up on ..umm..thumb drives I think they are.  But that computer obviously can't be used right now...so not sure when we'll be able to get the other bookkeeping stuff done - quarterlies and w2s for the other companies have to be done by the 30th - and we have to do our payroll this week.  So.  No clue what we will do about that.  My manager went over to the other office today to call the tech support people to try to find out what to do..she said she felt like she was going to be sick about this.  It about made me sick too.  But the good thing is most of it is backed up.  The owner got an external hard drive for that computer.  It got hooked up Wednesday.  I still backed up stuff I was working on on thumb drives..I know one thing was just backed up on the external hard drive - owner told me not to keep using the thumb drives.  I guess there is a possibility the external hard drive is corrupted too.  I don't think it was doing automatic backups, but I don't know.  Hopefully the computer gets fixed or replaced or whatever soon and we can get all the stuff done we need to soon.

I've been able to sleep for the most part.  Sometimes I end up going a little longer than I should without eating...I even got some stuff to take with me, but I forgot it today.  lol  I'll try to remember the stuff Monday.

In Munich airport right now, wait for the connecting flight. Had to come to Germany rather suddenly (on business), but I am sure I'll come here just as I usually do.

I'm still here.  I worked something like..umm...132 hours in the last 2 weeks..not counting about 6 and a half hours for bookkeeping.

I'm scheduled for 40 hours this week and even have a day off.  But I wouldn't be surprised if I end up working more.

I went in for a little while today.  We were supposed to do payroll to get it done.  Well that didn't happen.  There was another ....umm...issue with the computer we use for that.  Computer guy is coming tomorrow..guess he'll have it back by Wednesday morning..and we have to get the payroll done by 4 for the direct deposits to go in on time.  Oh what fun.

I don't know...and it is a weekday and not Sunday.

I had last Sunday off...I just watched stuff from my DVR and read a book.  I did a little shopping today after got done with the little we could do for the bookkeeping.  I got a book, a Blu-ray and a Sherlock Holmes DVD set.  Then I watched some other DVR stuff.  That's about it.

I am back! Sure was a nice vacation. Two weeks of 30+ degrees celsius which were spent a lot on the beach.
Now I am back at home where it has 0 degrees celsius :(
I will post pictures as soon as I got them all and have sorted through them.

As promised (though a few months late, sorry) a very small selection of pictures of my last vacation (we shot around 1200 more pictures). I wanted to post earlier, but then I noticed that you had to register at imageshack now, when you want to upload. And I didn't want to register. But since then I got a dropbox account. So have uploaded my pictures there and I will leave them up for about a week or two.

Yes, my friend doesn't get one. Only freckles. And my brother strongly avoided the sun, so he only got a little tan. I usually lie straight in the sun. I know it's not recommended, but I want to get a tan
