Long weekend. :)

Today is Ascension Thursday which is an official holiday in Germany and the perfect opportunity to take a day off tomorrow in order to have a four day weekend. :)

Next week is regular but the week after that has Pentecost Monday (read: a four day week) and the week after that has Corpus Christi (always on a Thursday) which means another three day week/four day weekend.

Unfortunately after that there's a long time of nothing. Next non-weekend holiday is November 1st.


But for now I'm enjoying the free time on my hands.


(PS: Ascension Thursday is also the inofficial Father's Day in Germany. I'm not a father, but who cares when there's beer and parties?)  :cheers:

Wish you a great long weekend! Being in Taiwan  I don't get off, a working day, I mean :-[ Anyway, our next holiday is in June, which, I believe, will be the last one for this year :(

Lucky you! I have 5 days of work and exams ahead of me, but after 8pm on Tuesday I'm free from uni until mid September. If only I could still get paid without going to work :P

I don't have any days off in the near future (not for a couple weeks anyway).  But I'm sitting on 38 days of vacation just waiting to be used! ;D
