Early B'day Present for me...
« on: May 07, 2010, 04:25:36 PM »
I asked my brother to drive Britt and I to the movies tomorrow (I don't drive) since Britt wants to go see Iron Man 2 (of course I want to see it too). Not only is that not a problem but he said that he will pay for both of our tickets as well as our snacks... and for me to consider it my Birthday present this year. That is cool... saving me a good $35 to $40.

Nice! Wish someone would do that for me - since I'm usually the one who proposes to pick up the bills for everyone, and it always seem like people are "expecting" it - not that I mind, but still.. ;)

Anyway, enjoy your "date"  :P

Awesome!

Tip:
Keep expectations low for Iron Man 2, then things will not go bad ;)

My expectations has been kind of low anyway. Some reason I just not expecting much... and no idea why. Maybe it is because I didn't like how he admitted to everyone he was Iron Man at the end of the first one. I know that is hiow it is in the comics or whatever... but to me all superheroes should have a secret identity. So I think that end disappointment from the first one has me not expecting much this time.

Hmmmm... I wonder if I should watch the first one again tonight or tomorrow morning before going??

I've an early one from my mother also, but it's just in theory since I've to wait that she find someone to send it to me or that I find someone to go get it for me :weep:

It's an awesome one!!!!

A 50'' Television, but not a new one with a flat screen (she is the one who got one). This is at least 3 times the screen space that I've actually on my TV

I can't get over this...

When Britt got home from school I told her to be sure to go to bed fairly early tonight because we are planning to go to the first matinee showing (!0:30am). I just walked into her room at 5:30 to see if she wanted to watch a movie with me this evening. And what do I find? Her already in bed asleep!

Well... we may not get to see this tomorrow after all. My brother was trying to go somewhere this evening and the car has broken down. Now I got to see if I can scramble up another ride somewhere to be able to go see this at some point this weekend. There is a couple of people that I can try... but won't be able to get a hold of them till tomorrow.  :(

Well... it don;t look like it will be happening. Can't find anyone that will take us. It breaks my heart to disappoint Brittany. But unfortunately this type of stuff happens. There is a street fair in town today (walking distance) so I offered to take her to that. But she isn't interested in that.

This is another thread that feels like Ring-Around-The-Rosie to me. We just heard back from someone I couldn't get a hold of earlier.. and they said they are going to try to make up here for one of the start times.
