Well... today is payday... so I allowed myself a few DVDs. Not many mind you... as hopefully I will at least get a couple for Christmas.  First thing I thought was to pick up HEX: Season 1... but it is now off sale. and I didn't want to pay that much for it. So... I picked out a few cheap ones...

Jeff Dunham: Very Special Christmas Special ($7.00)
I wanted something a little different for my Christmas marathon. This is a complete blind buy... as I never watched Jeff Dunham before... so hopefully I won't be disappointed. But he is one of Brittany's favorites.. and a good friend of mine also likes him a lot. Any thoughts on him here??

Dungeons and Dragons: The Complete Animated Series ($9.86)
This is one I remembered watching when I was a kid. Hopefully it is as good as I am remembering.

Day of the Dead (2007) ($4.86)
This one is another Blind Buy. I have read both good and bad reviews on this one... but for only $4.86 I figured it was worth taking a chance on. Hopefully I won't be disappointed. Odd thing. The cover above... from DVDprofiler database... looks completely different then the cover I have seen all over the net for this one....

I wonder why.

Arrived today...

Surprisingly none of the best known characters are on the disc art... no He-Man, no Skeletor, no Man-at-Arms... not even Teela or Orko. I don't recognize any of the ones on the discs.  :P

2 hrs later she went to her grandmother's house to spend the long weekend with her. When her grandmother got here to pick her up, I was talking with her grandmother... and what does Brittany come out with... "Grandma, can we go? I am hungry... I am ready for my Thanksgiving Dinner!"

Don't worry, it was lovemunkey's recommendation (on Facebook), not yours...

While the actual recommendation, or what made me place the order, came from lovemunkey I did get the vibe in this forum, among others you, that it's a good series that I might want to check out.

  L'amour braque (FR 1985)
R0-US Mondo Vision (Oct 15, 2009)

And another Zulawski. I've actually got the Limited Edition (DVDTimes review), but somehow only the SE is in the Invelos DB.
