But seriously. There are rumors about a movie called Grayskull. But I only believe it, when it's officially announced. A few years ago a He-Man movie directed by John Woo was supposed to come out, but nothing came of it (probably because the toyline was cancelled).

BTW: I hope the movie title alludes to Castle Grayskull, and not King Grayskull, a character from the 2002 animated series. I am currently listening to a MotU podcast, which talks about last years' comicon, were Mattel displayed a big King Grayskull statue. So they are trying to promote the character, which was an invention of the last series. I want He-Man and not his ancestor.

just ordered...

CSI: Season 1

This is a complete blind buy for me... never seen a single episode of it before. But a good friend of mine said she loves this show and wanted me to check it out. Hopefully I will enjoy it. Anyone here have an opinion on this one?

I love CSI personally. Every incarnation of it (Vegas, Miami and NY), though I prefer Vegas and NY.

I don't much care for David Caruso on Miami, but the rest of the show is great. The

I love the darker tones of NY, and "Lieutenant Dan" is great as a lead CSI (the girl is great too!)

But, Grissom is Grissom. Nobody beats him!  ;D

Hope you'll like it!

I have never watched it. It is not my kind of series. And to be honest, I don't want to like it. There are 9 seasons (and still running) plus 7 seasons Miami (still running) and 5 seasons NY (still running). My unwatched pile is big enough as it is ;)

The only franchise with more seasons I can think of would be the Law and Order franchise. Now that would be one heck of a Marathon!  :training:

I like CSI but always found myself falling asleep when I would watch it.  It has been one of the top rated shows for years though.  Hope you enjoy it Pete.

Add another one to the not-a-fan of David Caruso in CSI Miami. I didn't like him in NYPD Blue either. Every time I see him I picture him as Kit Kat in Hudson Hawk. That was about the only role where his "acting" style worked

Doctor Who has 30 seasons (26 classic, 4 new) + 3 seasons of Torchwood

Star Trek has 30 seasons (3 TOS, 2 TAS, 7 TNG, 7 DS9, 7 VOY, 4 ENT)

Challenge extended!

Certainly would have Pete occupied sufficiently while he is not allowed to watch horror. ;D

Have they put Corrie on DVD yet? :P You're all stuffed if they do that! Though I hope they don't. I don't want to meet the sort of person that would buy Coronation Street on DVD... :-X

Never watched it properly, but always enjoyed it when I did. Apart from the Miami one. That seems like a law unto itself. I know you like Bones, which I prefer, but still, it's the same sort of thing.

Tarantino's Grave Danger episodes were sodding brilliant. Jimmy.  :tease:
