His Spanish language films are wonderful. If you enjoy Pan's Labyrinth, I highly recommend The Devil's Backbone and Cronos. Especially the latter given your apparent interest in vampires. It's an interesting version of vampiric myths, with (by the end at least) a rather bizarre take on the classic Universal monsters that Del Toro loves. I believe in the modst of his very busy scedule there is still a mooted Frankenstein.

Another  for Cronos.  Was quite surprised(in a good way) when I caught this on late night tv some years back.

Aimée & Jaguar (£5.15 at Amazon.co.uk)
One of those lesbian-themed movies, which for some reason or another I never came around buying it.
Gia (£4.12 at Amazon.co.uk)
Same here.
Boys Don't Cry (£4.43 at Amazon.co.uk)
Another movie I often come across but never bought it.
A Time to Kill (£10.33 at Amazon.co.uk)
A Sandy flick Karsten mentioned recently. I have never seen it.

If I was to point to a single title that probably has the potential to push me to switch to BR.. Firefly, and its sibling Serenity, is probably it. Or Transformers.

I saw this version of Firefly on sale at Amazon and I was tempted to get it even though I don't have a Blu-ray player yet.  I already have 2 versions of Serenity..it is only a matter of time before I break down and get a BR player...then I'll have 3 versions...and 2 of Firefly.

Not sure. I still haven't watched the last disc of BSG season 3, that I started watching about three months ago.

I just wanted to watch this and I got a bad surprise. This release has really horrible non-anamorphic video transfer. It looks almost like a pirated copy. I think I will pass on watching this DVD.

You've plumped for Primeval, too? Good choice! Cheesy fun that I'll think you'll like, due to a very thin resemblance to the Stargate format.
