  • The Blues Brothers (€7.99)

Finally adding this highly-praised classic to my collection.
  • The Street: Series One (€4.99)

    Recommendation by Richie.
  • Day Break: The Complete Series ($22.56)

Never seen it. But you cannot go wrong with a time-loop story
  • Déjà Vu ($13.11)

Never seen it. But you cannot go wrong with a time-loop story
  • Becker: Season One ($24.83)

I liked this series when I did catch it when it ran on German TV a few years ago
  • Knocked Up ($12)

Never seen it. But looking at the cast & crew it's like a "Freaks & Geeks" reunion: Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Martin Starr, Judd Apatow. Also I like Katherine Heigl from "Roswell".
  • Casino Royale ($13.2)

    Continuing my Bond collection.
  • School for Scoundrels ($8.91)

Never seen it, but it has David Cross and Sarah Silverman in it :)
  • The Cosby Show: Season 7 + 8 (2 x $15.66)

    Thus completing another series.

Knocked Up is by Judd Apatow, who created Freaks and Geeks. Never seen it, but I want to based on that film, it's predecessor 40 Year Old Virgin, and Superbad. I think he also produced Forgetting Sarah Marshall which is getting some good reviews.

Receive this morning from Amazon.ca

Finally the works of Stephen Apostolof start to be release on dvd. Apostolof is one of the important director in the world of exploitation and very few of his movies were on dvd (Orgy of the Dead  , Office Love-in and Suburbia Confidential). This boxset is a start with 3 of his movie :

Lady Godiva Rides (Marsha Jordan, Liz Renay), Fugitive Girls (Renee Bond, Maria Arnold) and Drop-Out Wife (Angela Carnon, Sandy Dempsey)

I just hope that we will see much more of his works release : College Girls, The Divorcee, Class Reunion, The Cocktail Hostesses, ...

The rest of the month purchase will be slower with only 6 others dvd pre-order or in the mail for april.

I just got the John Wayne Paramount Collection. Great set with 14 (count 'em!) films:

Hondo
McLintock
The High and The Mighty
The Sons of Katie Elder
Island in the Sky
True Grit
Rio Lobo
El Dorado
Big Jake
The Shootist
Hatari
Donovan's Reef
In Harms Way
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

£13. Bargain! :egyptian:

It was from Ebay and it is like new condition, so there's another vote of confidence for them.

It's because you are a regular e-bay user, you know how to find the bad seller. For someone like me e-bay is just like NYC with someone waiting to fleece me at every street corner...

Well, maybe. Certainly you do get used to the clues as to whether a seller is good or bad. If you ever see an item you fancy bidding on, post a link here and let us offer an opinion.

I've had great fun adding them into Profiler! I've ran every disc with them being second hand (all perfect) and ended up watching a montage of classic clips!
