Herbie Collection (£21.60/€25.62/$34.85/Amazon.co.uk) I saw a few minutes of the Lindsay Lohan movie the other day at the gym, and it looked like a fun movie. Haven't seen the others since my childhood. So I thought I would buy the complete collection.

Watched this again the other day ... i really like this film.  I hope the rest of it stands up.

Besides - I watched LOTR before The Hobbit every came out! 

I enjoyed The Hobbit - it was like coming home. I can't wait to see the dragon. I don't know how this short book will be made into 3 films - we shall see.

My marathon will be running into today - I've been sick and I fell asleep during disc 2 of Two Towers.

The great thing about making it into 3 films from 1 book is it gives Jackson the time to build the visuals and include more of the story lines.  Of course there will still be complaints about what was left out ... but that would be even if it took the same amount of time as the story takes
