I had seen a review somewhere that said it was o.k. (even of not great).
Of course maybe it isn't that bad, many members at the blue-ray forum tend to be anal retentive...

I wonder if they are also planning to do Prince of Darkness :hmmmm:
Cliff had said no. You will have to keep the Momentum Pictures region 2 DVD as it's the best one on the market, unless there is a region B blu-ray I don't know about.

Based on our discusion I watched it right away today. While it certainly isn't reference material I still found it quite o.k. In some scenes the brightness was off and the night scenes were maybe more grainy than necessary, but overall sufficient to me. I haven't made a direct comparison to the DVD (I think mine is R2), but I would guess it is an improvement over that.

I think an upgrade next year would mostly depend on Special Features now (this Region B has none).

Cliff had said no.
:(

Maybe someone else will. I have a soft spot for that film.

 ???
In how far is Katy Perry related to "Good Music"?

In the same way as Lada to "Good Cars" and Michael Bay to "Good Movies"?

At least Thomas wrote good music and not good vocalist
But to be honest she is more tolerable than most of what is called music these days... at least she isn't a classless hip-hop act.

Yeah, well. I like to listen to almost all kind of music.
And a few years back Katy Parry almost came from
nowhere, and made hit after hit. And now we get a ¨
behind the scenes documentary from where it all started¨
and where she is now. Wich i always think is interesting.
And to be fair, she's a much better singer then many other
popstars today. :)

Have you seen any newer Red Dwarf episodes already Tom? If so, how do you think they compare to the older ones?

I haven't seen them yet. I only saw the special a few years back. You can find my review here. I enjoyed it more on second viewing though.
I plan to view the new episodes soon.

I just saw the first two episodes. The first one was disappointing. I was bored. But the second one was great. Reminded me of early Red Dwarf episodes.

I've only caught episodes sporadically so far but have been a little disappointed. Still fun, but not as good as previous times.
