Just ordered the first season of an old TV Show I remember I used to watch... just can't remember if it is any good or not. Hopefully I won't be too disappointed.

The Love Boat: Season One: Volume One
For the first time on DVD, its time to set sail on the high larious seas with Captain Stubing (Gavin MacLeod), Doc (Bernie Kopell), Gopher (Fred Grandy), Isaac the bartender (Ted Lange), Julie your Cruise Director (Lauren Tewes) and a boatload of memorable guest stars that will keep you laughing from port to port on their search for romance. Enjoy this 3 disc set with the first 12 classic episodes that kept you home on Saturday nights...The Love Boat™ promises something for everyone.
The Love Boat: Season One: Volume Two

The only thing I remember is it took place on a ship and that there was always big guest stars in every episode.

I remember getting a guilty pleasure from watching this series. Fantasy Island is another. Neither of them could be classified as being very good but they were a lighthearted fun way to waste a couple of hours.

My first DVD of 2011. I picked it up this morning at Big W for $22.72. I never watched Weeds before but I've heard nothing but good things.

I remember watching Love Boat.
I remember the theme song, but I don't think Pete care about this
Like it as a kid but I'm not sure this is the kind of show that aged well (it's the reason why I didn't get them when they were released).

I am concerned on how well The Love Boat aged. Like I said... I remember very little about the series. So hopefully I won't be sorry.

I am glad I ordered both sets for season 1 at the same time. As apparently there was a Love Boat TV Movie that aired before the series. And for some reason they put that on the second set instead of the first one.

Ironically the german copy of the Love Boat is still sailing and when I was in Berlin over Christmas I had the "fortune" to watch another episode with my granny. The plot was rather ridiculous...

The best Love Boat scene was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k80UQWWUIYs#t=66

From what I remember, the plots for the Love Boat were a bit silly..but I enjoyed the show.  I also liked Fantasy Island, though I haven't seen that one in years.

Four Lions (Amazon.co.uk)
I have seen this one at the last FantasyFilmFest and I enjoyed it.
Idiocracy (Amazon.co.uk)
My brother stumbled across this one and the premise sounded interesting.
