Oh, well. I bet it will look gorgeous all the same. Have you seen it before?

Watched it last night and yes it did look good. Colours and images were nice and sharp generally, some evidence in places of dust but not too obtrusive. Sound was good, I watched it in Japanese but my amp doesn't support HD sound so only had the downmixed Dolby Digital 5.1 from the PS3, not a lot of surround effects but when used it added to the ambience. One thing that was strange though was that it was window-boxed, i.e. a border around the whole image on screen. Checked up on a couple of review sites and that was intended to ensure that the original aspect ratio was fully shown ???

Thanks, Dave. I've seen the window-boxing thing occasionally, but it tends to be unusual on animation. I'll look out for it on the DVD.

I saw a link to Electric Mist on Play the other day and quite fancied it, but it was odd I haven't heard about it before. I'd love to hear what you think, Dave. In terms of TLJ movies, it sounds somewhere inbetween The Three Burials and The Fugitive...

Primeval: The Complete Series One
Primeval: The Complete Series Two
Primeval: The Complete Series Three
Outnumbered: Series One & Two
Outnumbered: Christmas Special
Lesbian Vampire Killers

All of the above was ordered upon reading various discussions in this forum.

Primeval actually came in a Box with the three series inside, but the cover looks even different than what they have at Amazon, neither one is in the DVDP database

No problemo Jon, like you it caught my eye and I went for it. I'll try to give it an early viewing. Also think I'll have to join in and start a review thread and start writing some reviews. One thing, if you do decide that Electric Mist is worth getting then wait for it to appear in the bargain bins  ??? This BD is one of those that are bare bones - just the film, a couple of trailers, DD2.0 and DD5.1 sound no HD sound, no subtitles.

Jon had posted two clips in the YouTube thread and I absolutely loved them (one was about the daughter explaining why she thinks A Christmas Carol is stupid and the other one about her leaving home, I believe in order to go to Spain...?). If those were anything to go by I should be fine. Might be watching it as early as next week.
