I hope you are more impressed than I was Tom, I purchased this as a blind buy but other than a few good episodes I was disappointed
I think it's terribly funny. But that's most likely because I score "dorky nerd king" here. ;)

Apart from also having gotten "The IT Crowd" I've gotten recently:

And on the book market:

The IT Crowd: Version 1.0 & Version 2.0 (£13.85 at Amazon.co.uk)
I have had seen a few episodes from it so far and I liked what I saw.

I hope you are more impressed than I was Tom, I purchased this as a blind buy but other than a few good episodes I was disappointed

I never watched it because I heard the same, but apparently, series 2 was a huge improvement, so it might be worth you sticking with it. Which reminds me, did you ever watch Bones? :)

I did watch the pilot of Bones Jon during the marathon I did and it was okay. It is down as a 'must watch during xmas holidays' series

Let me know your impression of this one. I want to know how it is after all the controversy with it.
Kind of stupid to hide the letters "uck" in the title, when the Canada became the Bible belt I've miss it

You know what's worse? The title on the spine is "Young People F***ing". I almost didn't buy the movie because of that. But then, I've been wanting to see this movie, even if just for the fact they had the guts to actually call it "Young People Fucking" ;)

Yeah, I know. I'm replying very late to this post by Jimmy. But I hadn't noticed then his comment about it.

Mein Leben & Ich: Staffel 1 (€22.97 at Amazon.de)
One of only two German television series I watched in recent years (the other being "Stromberg", the German version of "The Office"). The title translates to "My Life and I" and the series somewhat influenced by the series "My So-Called Life". Although "Mein Leben & ich" is produced in a half-hour comedy format instead of an hour drama format. And besides the similar name and that the main character being a teenage girl, these two series do not have much in common.
Mein Leben & Ich: Staffel 2 (€22.96 at Amazon.de)

blind buy. probably won't watch it for a while

Edit: I should add Lori and I were in Best Buy yesterday and we were commenting on the fact that we have most of the Christmas movies they (and most other places) sell. So we grabbed it since it was something we didn't have and hopefully it will be something we can enjoy. We're getting down to things like Barbie's nutcracker and Barnies Christmas. Might be great for little ones but not much there for us I don't believe.
