Since Brittany will be gone all day tomorrow... she gave me my birthday present a day early. She just gave me...

The OC: The Complete Series
| Year: 2003 | 3875 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Glamour. Glitz. Schemes. Dreams. The O.C. is the place to be. The complete series is yours in this extras-loaded DVD set. Outsider Ryan, quick-witted Seth, girls-next-door Summer and Marissa and more all the characters you love (or sometimes love to hate) are here in episodes alive with laughs and drama, indie bands and Chrismukkah, and featuring real insights into teens and parents, what's in and what matters, growing up and moving on. There's nothing like a day at the beach. Catch every wave!

I am pretty excited to check out this series (I seen 1 or two episodes before... but that is about it) as I became a fan of Rachel Bilson since she got her new series Hart of Dixie. This set has all 4 seasons (92 episodes) of the series.

Thank You Britt!

I became a fan of Rachel Bilson since she got her new series Hart of Dixie.

I became a fan of hers during her two-episode stint as Lou on Chuck. I've watched The O.C. recently (if you need confirmed running times for your profiles, I have the american season 2 -4, which are with high certainty identical to your complete box discs) and I enjoyed it. But it was also OK when it was over. They ran into the same problem as all high school shows do: The kids are going off to college and you can't keep them all in one place (just look at how ridiciously that was "solved" on Gossip Girl or  Smallville  - neither Clark, Lois, Lana or Chloe have finished college (at least not onscreen).

Some more early birthday presents...

Red Barry
| Year: 1938 | 256 Min.

Blasted from the pages of your favourite newspaper serial... and exploding before your eyes on the screen!
RED BARRY - A dynamite-charged thriller!

Based on the comic strip by Will Gould, the serial followed the adventures of tough guy police detective "Red" Barry (Crabbe) in his quest to recover valuable stolen savings bonds. Crabbe has to deal with a gang of Russian crooks (headed by Edna Sedgewick and including Stanley Price), a group of Chinese agents (headed by Cyril Delevanti) and a bunch of American/Chinese racketeers (headed by Frank Lackteen, Wheeler Oakman and a young Tom Steele), as well as a hostile police commissioner (William Gould; no relation to the strip's creator) and a bumbling British sleuth named Valentine Vane (Hugh Huntley). Despite all the conflicting gangs, Crabbe manages to come out on top with the help of female reporter Mississippi (Frances Robinson) and Police Inspector "Scotty" Scott (Wade Boteler). Crabbe was ideal as Barry, an unshakable and unconventional cop who didn't let protocol or "due process" mess up his investigations, and who was in constant conflict with the windbag police commissioner (William Gould).

Wings
| Year: 1927 | 144 Min.

Director William A. Wellman's masterpiece is the first film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture. Featuring a meticulous restoration and a newly recorded soundtrack based on the original score, Wings comes to DVD for the very first time. This timeless story of love and loss follows two men who go to war and the girl they leave behind. Popular Twenties "It" girl Clara Bow stars in this unforgettable World War I epic alongside Richard Arlen, Charles "Buddy" Rogers and the legendary Gary Cooper in a cameo appearance. The aerial battle sequences still rank among the best in motion picture history.

Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter
| Year: 2009 | 26 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

They're in the book. And on this disc. From the director of Watchmen and 300 come two tales from the celebrated graphic novel that do not appear in the extraordinary Watchmen Theatrical Feature. Tales of the Black Freighter (featuring the voice of 300's Gerard Butler) brings to strikingly animated life the novels richly layered story-within-a-story, a daring pirate saga whose turbulent events may mirror those in the Watchmens world. Stars from the Watchmen movie team in the amazing live-action/CGI Under the Hood, based on Nite Owl's powerful first-hand account of how the hooded adventurers came into existence. Two fan-essential stories. One place to watch the excitement. Watching the Watchmen begins here.

Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic
| Year: 2008 | 325 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Watched any great books lately? Now you can. The most celebrated graphic novel of all time that broke the conventional mold continues to break new ground. Watchmen co-creator and illustrator Dave Gibbons oversees this digital version of the graphic novel that adds limited motion, voice and sound to the books strikingly drawn panels. All 12 chapters of the story are here – over 5 hours spanning everything from the mysterious demise of the Comedian to the crisscrossed destinies of loosely allied superheroes to their fateful impact on the world. Be in the know. Be watching. With Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic.

Gordon of Ghost City
| Year: 1933 | 220 Min.

A cowboy is hired to track down a gang of rustlers, but gets involved with a beautiful girl trying to run her grandfather's gold mine and other outlaws who are trying to stop her.

Yeah, but that gave me a reason to be unhappy with Amazon Canada costumer service for the first time in seven years

Want to get them for a while, but I was waiting to see if the serie last four seasons will be release. Looks like it won't happen wich kind of suck as I don't like to have incomplete TV series, but 10.99$ / season was hard to pass.

BTW happy birthday ;D
