Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection (Amazon.co.uk)
A Black Friday deal. I have never seen any of these movies. I will probably save it up for next year's October marathon, so that I have something to watch for it.
The set contains:
  • Dracula (1931) English & Spanish versions
  • Frankenstein (1931)
  • The Mummy (1932)
  • The Invisible Man (1933)
  • The Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
  • The Wolf Man (1941)
  • The Phantom of the Opera (1943)
  • Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)
Sleeping Bride (Amazon.co.uk)

Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection (Amazon.co.uk)
A Black Friday deal. I have only seen the first one in the past. And I didn't read any of the books.

I have on order...

The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season
When the world is ravaged by a zombie apocalypse, police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and a small group of others struggle to stay alive as 'the dead' stalk them at every turn. Can Rick and the others hold onto their humanity as they fight to live in this terrifying new world? And, amidst dire conditions and personal rivalries, will they ultimately survive one another?

Based on Robert Kirkman's hugely successful and popular comic book series, AMC's original series "The Walking Dead" is an epic, edge-of-your-seat drama where personal struggles are magnified against a backdrop of moment-to-moment crisis. A survivalist story at its core, the series explores how the living are changed by the overwhelming realization that those who survive can be far more dangerous than the mindless walkers roaming the earth. They themselves have become the walking dead.

2. Bloodletting
3. Save The Last One
4. Cherokee Rose
5. Chupacabra
6. Secrets
7. Pretty Much Dead Already
8. Nebraska
9. Triggerfinger
10. 18 Miles Out
11. Judge, Jury, Executioner
12. Better Angels
13. Beside The Dying Fire

Thomas Kinkade's Christmas Cottage
Returning home from college one Christmas, young artist Thomas Kinkade (Jared Padalecki) is dismayed to learn that attempts to promote local tourism have failed and his mother (Marcia Gay Harden) is dangerously close to losing the family cottage to foreclosure. Inspired by his mentor, Glen (Peter O' Toole), a famous artist who lives next door, Thom accepts a job painting a mural of his small, idyllic hometown. With Glen's help, Thom not only discovers his calling as the Painter of Light  but also helps the town rediscover the true spirit of Christmas in this nostalgic, humorous and heartwarming true story destined to become a holiday classic.

Christmas with the Kranks
When their only daughter Blair leaves the family nest, Luther and Nora Krank (Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis) decide to book an island cruise to beat the yuletide blues and just skip the holidays. But their decision to boycott tradition has the whole neighborhood in an uproar. When Blair calls on Christmas Eve to announce a surprise visit with her new fiancé, the Kranks have just twelve hours to perform a miracle and pull themselves and their neighbors together to throw the best celebration ever!

With fast-paced energy and support from Dan Aykroyd, Cheech Marin, Jake Busey and M. Emmet Walsh, this hilarious adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel, "Skipping Christmas," has become "an instant family classic!"—Gorman Woodfin, CBN

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: The Ninth Season
The NCIS team is back in action with all 24 suspense-filled episodes of Season 9. Special Agent Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) continues to lead the team at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service as they probe into intense military matters, including national security breaches, a secret society of superheroes, and brutal murders — one of which drops them in the heart of Afghanistan and another which leads them to a long-lost agent. Co-stars Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, Brian Dietzen and David McCallun comprise this do-or-die unit that seeks truth beyond a doubt and puts justice above all. On DVD for the first time, this must-own 6-disc collection contains exclusive special features that make a case for gripping drama.

Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
Tim Allen is back in the big red suit for more adventure and laughs in Disney's hilarious family comedy. Get ready for a thrilling sleigh ride as the reluctant Santa Claus faces his most chilling and hysterical challenge yet.

As Christmas nears, Scott Calvin invites his in-laws (Ann-Margret and Alan Arkin) to join the festivities. The holidays take a chaotic turn when Scott discovers a way out of his "Santa Clause" and the mischievous Jack Frost (Martin Short) puts the big freeze on Christmas' big cheese! Unless Scott can save the day, it's going to be a very chilly Frostmas at the North Pole and all around the world. Will Scott be able to get his job back in the St. Nick of time?

Celebrate the holidays with The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, complete with exclusive bonus materials, including a musical Christmas Carol-oke feature. It's a gift the whole family will treasure.

The Search for Santa Paws
In the tradition of Disney's classic holiday tales comes a heartwarming movie about the power of giving and the true meaning of Christmas. Discover how the legendary friendship of Santa Claus and Santa Paws began in the inspiring original film, The Search For Santa Paws.

When Santa and his new best friend, Paws, discover that the boys and girls of the world have lost the spirit of the season, they take a trip to New York City. But after Santa loses his memory, it's up to Paws, a faithful orphan named Quinn (America's Got Talent's Kaitlyn Maher), her new friend Will (The Game Plan's Madison Pettis) and a wonderful group of magical talking dogs to save St. Nick and show the world what Christmas is really all about.

Looks like you need some movies for your marathon

In case you need some suggestion this one doesn't look too bad for a Christmas movie, doesn't look like a dumb comedy and have a strong cast...

I really liked the original Get Carter.  I liked the remake but nothing is quite like some Michael Caine from that period.  Also some great Frank Sinatra films .. really liked Tony Rome and Lady in Cement.

Great picks
Thank you
