Picked up this one for October. Only heard great things about it  :-[

The Cabin in the Woods (Blu-Ray) 2012
I won't tell you different. I liked it all the way through, including the ending!

I wanted the order it yesterday for the October marathon, but Amazon.co.uk seems to have it removed because of technical issues of the product. And marketplace sellers ask £20 for it, which is too much for me for a blind buy.

The technical issue is it keeps randomly pausing on some players. DVDActive had this info and Lions Gate seemingly told reviewers across the board it was a bad batch of screeners. You'd think they would watch the disc on several types of players before producing en masse!

Thor
The world has many heroes...but only one is a god. When the arrogant warrior Thor (Chris Hemsworth, Star Trek) is banished to Earth from his homeworld of Asgard, He must fight to reclaim his lost powers. Pursued by an invasion force sent to destroy him the fallen God of Thunder must rise to the battle and learn what it takes to become a true hero. Natalie Portman (Black Swan) and Anthony Hopkins (Beowulf ) also star in the blockbuster adventure critics are calling "thrilling, entertaining and cool" (Harry Knowles, Ain't It Cool News).
Thank you
David

I got a box full of DVDs that I either had doubles of, didn't like or haven't watched again in so many years that I saw no reason of keeping... and set up a trade with the store my friend works in again... This time I will be getting...

Scre4m
Directed by suspense master and director of the first trilogy, Wes Craven, Scream 4 is the newest installment in the acclaimed franchise that ushered in a new wave of horror in the 1990s. In Scream 4, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts). Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghost Face, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends (Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Adam Brody) and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End
The ultimate reality show turns into the ultimate in horror for six contestants when they find themselves pitted against hideously deformed and insatiably hungry cannibals in this white-knuckle thrill-ride that "blows away most 2007 horror films" (Fangoria)! Directed by Joe Lynch, recently named one of Gorezone's top horror directors, and packed with never-before-seen special features including a commentary by Lynch, the writers and select cast members, Wrong Turn 2: Dead End promises twice the jolts and heart-pounding fear of the original!

Retired military commander Colonel Dale Murphy (Henry Rollins) hosts a simulated post-apocalyptic reality show where participants are challenged to survive a remote West Virginia wasteland. But the show turns into a nightmarish showdown when each realizes they are being hunted by an inbred family of cannibals determined to make them all dinner.

Meanwhile, Kitty becomes the breadwinner as Red recovers at home. Kelso enrolls in the police academy, while Fez adapts to married life. Jackie must finally make the ultimate choice: Hyde or Kelso?
