Beyond Redemption
A cop's faith is a killer's target in the ultimate tale of bloodlust and murder! Detective Henry Smith (ANDREW McCARTHY) is in charge of the hunt for a serial killer so twisted that he looks to a higher power for his evil masterwork - the systematic sacrifice of highly respected people. Equally obsessed as the serial killer he stalks, Smith defies the ultimate judgment; will he abandon the one thing he cares about in the hope of defeating his nemesis?
Strangers on a Train
Strange thing about this trip. So much occurs in pairs. Tennis star Guy (Farley Granger) hates his unfaithful wife. Mysterious Bruno (Robert Walker) hates his father. How perfect for a playful proposal: I'll kill yours, you kill mine. Now look at how Alfred Hitchcock reinforces the duality of human nature. The more you watch, the more you'll see. "Isn't it a fascinating design?" the Master of Suspense often asked.

Actually, it's doubly fascinating. For Hitchcock left behind two versions of 'Strangers on a Train'. The original version (SIDE A) is an all-time thriller classic. A recently found longer prerelease British print (SIDE B) offers "a startling amplification of Bruno's flamboyance, his homoerotic attraction to Guy and his psychotic personality" (Bill Desowitz, 'Film Comment'). The laying bare of Bruno's hidden nature, along with great set pieces (head-turning tennis match, disintegrating carousel) and suspense as only Hitchcock can deliver, makes for a first-class trip.
The Sight
Michael Lewis, is a young New York asrchitect who has recently experienced a series of frightening visions and dreams. His confusion heightens when he hits an old woman who steps in front of his car. In his arms, she utters his name before dying. Amazingly, the woman visits him in the form of a spirit. While alive she had the ability to see spirits an her mission was to help them complete their unfinished business onearth before moving on to the next world. She's now passed this legacy and a number of angry spirits to Michael, the only human being to shar her unique gift. She tells Michael he must embrace these powers and start by solving the mystery of serial murderer at large. With the help of Isobel, a beutiful spirit, Michael sets out to discover the truth and catch the killer.
Thank you
David

Received today from Alternative Cinema

I've discuss with Michael Rasso two years for a re-release of The Seduction of Inga as the OOP single release was quite costly (I almost bought it last year for 65 $US but the logical side of my brain did insist it was too much for one used DVD...).

Always appreciated when a label owner takes your suggestion (but of course the fact I've help him on other things probably played a role)

No I haven't got nothing at that hours, but I found it funny that none of my recent purchases are in the database (check my recent purchase in my profile)

Not even something release by Universal or Anchor Bay... When I think Ken always say that the fact the database had lost many contributors had no effects at all
