Not really a purchase but I think it's a nice way to get some unreleased or OOP movies legally and at no cost. Of course the downside is that you get VHS quality, but it's better than nothing

BTW I got those films from YouTube and as I'm kind of insane I use the mp4 file to create a DVD...

Yes, there are YouTube channels and also other websites dedicated to provide downloads for public domain films. An admirable effort. And some of them are provided with a rather high ressolution, even up to 1080p (that is displayed resolution of course, these films are not restored!).

The one channel I am subscribed to is OpenFlix, which have a good range of films available. They have Night of the Living Dead and M in HD...

Good to know... I was looking at my horror collection earlier. I only need 10 more and I will have 1,000 horror movies alone in my collection!

Always wanted to see this when it came out! Dick Maas seemed to be doing solid, pulpy B-Movies (I quite enjoyed Amsterdamned at the time), made in Holland. They'd probably bore the hell out of me now.
