I already own Pleasantville and You've Got Mail on DVD, so I am double-dipping on these, but I love these movies and can watch them again and again so I don't mind doing it on these titles.

I'd be interested to know what Pleasantville is like on Blu. Meanwhile, I just noticed that You've Got Mail includes a DVD of The Shop Around The Corner! Now that's a special feature.

Oh, and according Blu-ray Region Code Info it's region free.

I always had the DVD on my Wish List, but never bought it. I think I might get the Blu-ray...

Finally after searching the title of this movie for so many years I finally got it this morning :yahoo:

It sure an old release since it was released 11 years ago, kind of made me glad to have found it at a reasonable price since it must be OOP for quite a while and in perfect condition.

BTW it was Filmed at Montreal and Laval, wich make me wonder if the beach resort is always there at Laval 33 years later

To b fair, Jimmy, the Silver Collection was largely a budget label even when new, so it's initial RRP would have been about £10. I'm not insulting them, btw, I have several. ;) I suspect ITV might have taken them over as they release similar titles.

This is what the cover shout to me, but at least it's the theatrical poster wich is sure better than what the Salvation Films cover looks like (I dislike when a cover had nothing to do with nothing). With the postage and everything it cost me more or less 20 canadian dollars this is why I say reasonable (the comparable zone 1 release is sold for a lot more than that).

Too bad films from the golden age of canadian cinema don't get better release, but when we consider they were made only to save taxes it isn't that surprising.

What is ITV?

ITV is our major commercial TV channel. The buttons on the remote have been BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Five for years now...  ;) The BBC, ITV and C4 all have their own DVD distribution label and commission productions of all sorts of sizes, but I've noticed ITV occasionally also release some classic films in a way I'd have expected Silver Label or Rank to do. Network are another good label for that, but very slightly average a higher price.
