Finally received this morning from Diabolik DVD

I was supposed to get it sooner, but this one got lost in the mail or stolen (don't happen often, but I hate when it does). Thanks to Jessie and the great costumer service at Diabolik I got a replacement package without any problems.

I got The Stuff a couple years back. I will never forget the firs time I seen it... I was visiting my cousin's house and it came on their satellite. And I enjoyed every second of it. I was thrilled that I finally found it on DVD... when I watched it... it wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being... but I did still enjoy it. :)

This is actually the case with everything that Larry Cohen is involved in ;D
Just few movies he wrote or direct : It's Alive, God Told Me To, It Lives Again, The Invaders (TV), Maniac Cop, Body Snatchers, A Return to Salem's Lot, etc.

Of course I forgot to list The Stuff
I sure hope that we will get a dvd release of A Return to Salem's Lot some day

The rights belong to Warner and since they don't release dvd anymore (I don't count highly price made on demand DVD-R as real DVD) the possibility are quite low. Even more when we know they don't sub-licence their film anymore as confirmed by Cliff MacMillan and Don May on another forum.

Sure hope that ridiculous fad of MOD DVD will end soon... Why? They are not reliable, they come with no extra, they are costly and you can't get them if you live outside of the USA.

BTW Pete the film is  available via the MOD DVD-R program of Warner

I don't normally like to spend $20 on a single movie... and never bout a Made on Demand release. But for this one... I may have to make an exception. I will have to think about it.
