and today the following were delivered

Battle of Wits

Kung Fu Dunk

Raging Phoenix

I saw the listings for these when they were initially announced but decided not to purchase. However Mother had a small lottery win, less than £100 before the begging letters arrive  :P, and gave me some money so I thought that I would buy 3 or 4 titles I didn't already own but ones that had piqued my interest.

My favorite season of Dawson's Creek (though I haven't watched the sixth one yet).

...Im not sure if you know what happens in the final episode Tom, but... it seems fairly strange :p

I have the series finale as an extra DVD which was released shortly after it aired. It is an extended cut where the scenes with Andie have been reintegrated. They were cut for time.
I have watched it a few years ago, so I vaguely remember what happened.

Love on the Side (Amazon.co.uk)
Blind buy. Popped up on Amazon's recommendations.
The Invention of Lying (Amazon.co.uk)
I have been waiting for the price to drop on this one.
Ghost Town (Amazon.co.uk)
Popped up after I put "The Invention of Lying" into the shopping basket at amazon.
Cutie Honey (Amazon.co.uk)
A real over-the-top Japanese "superhero" movie.

I really enjoyed Ghost Town, so I'd watch that first, Tom, because I've heard that the Invention of Lying isn't great. Mind you it its supposed to be ambitious, so I'll be interested in what you think.

Actually, I already watched all of these movie, because I waited posting in this thread until two of my submitted cover scans were finally released.
I have to agree, that Invention of Lying wasn't great. I had higher expectations. Ghost Town on the other hand was good though.

Today these arrived
St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold

Up In The Air

And then came Lola
Not too sure about this one as a couple of reviews were talking about Run Lola Run in relation to this film so I ordered blind but now it doesn't seem to have any relationship to that film. Still I might get surprised and enjoy this.

I have had "And then Came Lola" on my wishlist for awhile. I usually do not pre-order DVDs at Amazon. And as it has just been released, it will be on my next order.

I've seen from the cover and overwiew that it does tie-in nicely with your Lesbian Movie Marathon. I will give it a try though and as I said above I might get surprised.
