And another one :)

Clearly, to like this British comedy it is advisable to be German!  :tease:

Since I'm currently doing a TSCC marathon, I was almost tempted to give this as try. Piper Perabo would be another argument for it. Ever since I saw her in the remarkable Lost & Delirious (coincidentally, also as a lesbian character), I hope that she gets another chance to shine, but sadly that hasn't happened so far. And from what I gathered over at metacritic.com, this seems to be another one of those formulaic romcoms, I really cannot bring myself to watch. YMMV, obviously.

I've picked up more...including an order I didn't expect until next week.  The one Walmart here got a bunch of new $5 DVDs..so that contributed too.

Today's addition - an impulse buy at Tesco's (the checkout lad asked a few questions about it and forgot to scan it   )

30 Rock: Season Three (Amazon.com)
Continuing another good series.
Gulliver's Travels (DVD Pacific)
I had the urge to see this one again. I have seen it years ago on TV and remember enjoying it.
Ellen: Season Five (DVD Pacific)
Completing another series.

Welt am Draht (DE 1973, AKA World on Wire)
R2-DE Kinowelt/Arthaus (Feb 18, 2010)

Long before The Matrix, there was this German movie by Rainer Werner Fassbinder. I've waited forever that it gets released on DVD, and now it finally does.
Mávahlátur (Iceland 2001, AKA The Seagull's Laughter)
R2-DE Epix (2007)

While looking for something to fill up my Amazon order, I stumbled over this. Never heard of it, but it seems to be a terrific black comedy that swept away the Icelandic equivalent of the Oscars at its time of release.

You should quote the funny bits, or we can't laugh after they got corrected ;)

I am intrigued...

I am planning to order from Amazon.de next month and will add this one.

To be fair, I was amused by the fact that Tesco cocked-up...  I actually don't know what the typo was.  :bag:

Sorry for confusion. My typo was just a simple spelling mistake - forget instead of forgot.

Received this morning from Amazon Marketplace

Did you forget that I'm an Uwe Boll fan? According to the critics this one is suppose to be the best movie he had ever done and when you think that it follows Seed, BloodRayne II, In the Name of the King and Postal that sound awesome to my ears ;D

Now I have to found a good release of Postal and Far Cry. I will probably settle for the US released of Postal and the German released of Far Cry.

Even better, Stoic will be released in april in Canada (but I will have to check the US release first) and he have 2 other movies filmed and ready to be released : Rampage and Darfur.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
edit : I ordered finally Far Cry from Amazon.ca since it looks the same than the German one and at the same occasion I add Stoic to this order (It's listed on the german amazon, but I ain't sure if the movie is in english or dub in german)
