Sometime in the last decade or so, they did a new feature film version of The Avengers.  I didn't care much for it, though, and felt the leads had no chemistry together.  So I wouldn't recommend that...unless maybe you find it in a $5 or less bargain bin  ::)

Had to go to Walmart to exchange a Blu for the DVD.... a bad thing happened:

Angels & Demons
District 9
Fanboys
The Reader
9
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Tropic Thunder
The Duchess
Chuck: Season 1

I was sure that Walmart gave you all those dvds for your Blu-ray and I was thinking why it's a bad thing?

I know it isn't a DVD but I am excited about my purchase. Yesterday I got Assasins Creed on PS3 for only $20. Anyone who know's PS3 games should see how this is a bargain. These games are usually anywhere from 80-120 bucks.

Oh well there you go, it does deserve to be here. I probably should have figured that out since PS3 games are all blu-ray discs.

I never asked her... but I bet Britt picked it out without reading the back of the case.... and was thinking it was somehow related the The Avengers superheroes!
Similar to Rich, I have nostalgic attachment to this show; he already described it rather well. Britt may be in for a) a disappointment, since is not related to The Avengers she might be thinking of and b) a pleasant surprise, as Diana Rigg is the female hero in this; not just beautiful bus also kicking ass (1960s style).

There is a nice set available covering all three seasons Diana Rigg was in; happens that I own it :D Unfortunately it seems unavailable now. I also remember seeing some episodes with Emma's successor, Tara King, but it just wasn't the same.

BTW, the series is much bigger than Rich's post indicates. All sorts of details can be found on The Avengers forever website.
