Damn DVD bargain bins at the food store  :voodoo:

  • Shrek the Third (€7,77)

Haven't seen it yet. Expecting the worst
  • Blades of Glory (€7,77)

Blind buy. With that cast, how bad can it be?
  • The Weather Man (€7,77)

Complete blind buy. Never read anything about this movie, but it stars Nicolas Cage and Michael Caine. Shouldn't be a complete letdown.

When I walked into the MediaMarkt last saturday, I didn't really wanted to buy anything. But then I stumbled across:

12€ each. They had the seasons 5-8 for this price, too, but I wanted to watch a few seasons first.

This is a blind buy for me (9.50€):

This I watched in the theatres, it's nothing special but one can watch it again (7.50€):

A beautiful masterpiece. Despite it's subject matter, it's life affirming, and despite its age, the photography looks incredible and features one of my favourite movie moments (I won't spoil it, but look out for a scene on a building site). Just brilliant all round.

As I was in Hong Kong yesterday I used that fact to go to some real DVD stores (online ordering is fine and usually cheaper, but it can't beat the feeling to actually browse through the stuff). I ended up buying less than last time I went there, yet spent more (due the the Blu Rays...).

DVDs:

Blu Ray:

Back from of couple day off, I was with my familly since thursday. So after I notice that I need another mural unit for my DVD and going to Walmart to bought it. I bring this 2 dvd with me

Since Sebastien in his review say that the 6th seasons is better than the fifth, I've finally decide to give it a try.

But since I will have to watch 2 seasons this week, I don't think that I will watch something else or review anything this week.

I'm just about to post the review of the 6th and final disc of Season 6, and I must say, it is a much, much better effort than Season 5 was.
