Significant Others: Complete Series
Complete Blind Buy... I know nothing about this series other then it has Jennifer Garner in it... and I loved her in Alias. Anyone know this short-lived series?
Yes, I have bought it a few years ago. I was disappointed by it.

I''s/I''s Pure: 2 Complete Series ($18.78 at DVD Pacific)
Blind buy. It is based on a manga by the same artist of a previous manga that I enjoyed. As the I''s manga consists of 15 volumes I use this short anime for evaluating my interest for the story.
Wonder Woman ($21.1 at DVD Pacific)
I have been waiting for this since I first heard about it. I had to wait with buying this Blu-ray release as I needed confirmation that this US release is also Region B encoded (in Europe it has only been released on DVD so far).

These are the ones I've gotten in like the last week to week and a half.

- This is the complete trilogy with all 3 movies.

Why change it? I'm perfectly fine with people linking to my images from this site.

What I'm more puzzled about is how you ended up getting a Quebec movie from Kathy and not the other way around  :P

I saw most of this on tv not long back and quite enjoyed it.

 The whole Highlander series (except for "The Sorcerer"  :yucky:) I've enjoyed, yes, even Highlander II. I guess we should class this as a guilty pleasure for me.

Thanks to Eric for sending it to me. I hate to say I enjoyed this movie because it was so heartbreaking but it was definitely one to watch.  My only complaint was that all the bonus features were in French and I could not enjoy them.

   Les chansons d'amour (FR 2007)
R2-UK Artificial Eye (2008)

French musical with Nouvelle Vague roots. After watching Vicky Cristina Barcelona, I was in the mood for another threesome story. Plus, it stars Louis Garrel and Clotilde Hesme, whom I saw together in Les amants réguliers a while ago.
   Gia (1998)
R2-DE Warner/HBO (2008)

In honor of Tom's lesbians marathon.
Das Herz ist ein dunkler Wald (DE 2007, AKA The Heart Is a Dark Forest)
R2-DE Warner/X-Verleih (2008)

Marriage drama with a turn into the darker realms of German romanticism.
El laberinto del fauno (ES 2006, AKA Pan's Labyrinth)
R2-UK Optimum (2007)

   Pep Sqad (1998)
R0-US York/Dikenga (2001)

Save Kill the cheerleader. Steve Balderson's debut feature.
   Revolutionary Road (2008)
R1-US Paramount (Jun 2, 2009)

This Film Is Not Yet Rated (2006)
R1-US Genius/IFC (2007)

   Twilight (2008)
R1-US Summit (Mar 21, 2009)

Contrast program to Let the Right One In and The Cake Eaters.
   Volver (ES 2006)
R1-US Sony (2007)

I don't really like Pedro Almodóvar, but after seeing (and hearing) Penélope Cruz letting loose in Spanish in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, I wanted to give this a try.

And some action flicks for the popcorn corner. Although for one of them, there is probably no excuse.  :bag:

   Mission: Impossible 3 (2006)
R2-DE Paramount (2006)
   Punisher: War Zone (2008)
R1-US Lionsgate (Mar 17, 2009)
   Quantum of Solace (2008)
R2-DE Fox (Mar 27, 2009)
   Taken (2008)
R2-UK Fox (Feb 9, 2009)
