Personally I prefer this as it usually results in far higher quality instead of dragging things out or stretching jokes over 24 episodes. Probably why there are so few US comedy shows that agree with me tbh. Have you seen the original UK show? Only 12 episodes over two series with some specials. Will always be remembered as a classic instead of people saying "it lost it's way in the 140th episode in season 7".
I heard Carrell had left the US version? How has the show been without the US version of David Brent?
