Justice League: Season 1
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl - they have all used their unique powers to fight evil across the galaxy. These 7 super heroes unite to become the Justice League. These 26 adventures feature battles with favorite villains like Lex Luthor, Vandal Savage and sorceress Morgan Le Fey. Acts of justice include saving Aquaman from a coup and clearing Green Lantern's name in a charge of genocide. From the smash hit TV series, these triumphant tales of teamwork will enthrall and inspire!

My Thoughts:
Over the last 2 days I watched the entire first season of Justice League: Season 1... which I borrowed from my daughter's collection. Despite the fact that Wonder Woman can fly like Superman... which I don't care for (that is not the Wonder Woman I grew up knowing about)... I really enjoyed this animated series. So much so that I actually hated when the season was over. Especially since the first season is all Britt has in her collection. This is one show I would really like to get the complete series set of.

Scrubs: The Complete Third Season
Get ready for one wacky house call with the hilarious third season of Scrubs.  It's a whole new year for the staff of Sacred Heart as Elliot undergoes a complete makeover in an attempt to change her luck, and the residents discover the incredible healing powers of an epiphany toilet.

Joining J.D. and the gang are a host of hysterical guest stars, including Tom Cavanagh (Ed), Tara Reid (American Pie), and the legendary Michael J. Fox -- "One of our all-time favorite comedy actors returns to the small screen...on one of our all-time favorite shows," raves Entertainment Weekly. Bursting with highly contagious bonus features and featuring the show's original, unedited music in 5.1 Surround Sound, Scrubs complete third season is just what the doctor ordered.

My Thoughts:
I watched this entire season over the last couple days. I enjoyed every minute of it. I liked the new look they gave Sarah Chalke's character... though I do usually prefer longer hair on girls this new haircut looked good on her. I also thought they went in a good direction with her character as well. There is a nice selection of extras in this set which is always a fun thing. Hopefully I will be able to add the next season before too long.

2. DOWN THE DRAIN
Heavy rains in Vegas wash up a body in the storm drains. As the team investigates, they find bones in the sewer system that could only be murder. The body was dumped in the sewer opposite a house that turns out to be filled with high explosives. Also, Greg attends his very first autopsy but keeps it all in.

3. HARVEST
A young girl is abducted from outside a convenience store, triggering an Amber alert. The team investigates in a race against time. The girl's body is soon found and the team discover that she's been dead for longer than they thought. Also, Lindsay Willows is found hitchhiking to the alarm of Catherine, and Greg has another replacement.

4. CROW'S FEET
A woman is found dead in a hotel suite with symptoms of the Ebola virus. However the dead woman and another woman found later have similar symptoms, are linked to a health spa selling cures to help slow the effects of aging. Catherine and Nick investigate. Sara and Greg with help from Grissom try to determine how the owner of a home was killed while his home was tented for infestation. Both of his neighbors inhaled the poison used during the fumigation.

My Thoughts:
Now you know I couldn't go too long after getting the season five set without watching the first disc. This is more like it... I still enjoy these characters more then I do on CSI: NY. All the episodes on this disc was good... though I think I liked the first one the best.

The Zeta Project: Season 1 (Disc 1)
From the world of Batman Beyond comes Zeta, an experimental infiltration robot designed to be a government agent. With an arsenal of weapons and technology, including a holographic self-projector allowing it to assume any identity, Zeta is the ultimate assassin. But when Zeta's programming evolves, he develops a conscience and refuses to perform for the government. Now, Zeta is the enemy, and Agent Bennett wants to put this rogue robot down before it endangers humanity. Zeta takes to the streets and finds a friend in Ro, an orphan also on the run. These two form a wary alliance that grows to a friendship as they travel together through The Zeta Project's 2-Disc set of 12 exciting Season One Adventures. As pursuer Bennett's anger and persistence grow, the question becomes: who's the real threat to humanity?

Episodes:
1. The Accomplice
2. His Maker's Name
3. Remote Control
4. Change of Hear
5. The Next Gen
6. West Bound

My Thoughts:
While I liked the episodes of Batman Beyond that spawned this series... I must admit I really wasn't sure that the character could pull off his own series. But it turns out I enjoyed it more then I thought I would so I am glad I decided to pick up this set. This series only lasted 2 seasons... unfortunately the second season was never released on DVD.

8. Shadows
9. Crime Waves
10. Taffy Time
11. Kid Genius
12. Ro's Reunion

My Thoughts:
I finished off this season set last night. And must say I enjoyed it all very much. As I said... I didn't think that the character could pull off his own series. I was happy to see that in one episode of this disc that Batman showed up. I wish he would have shown up a little more. Maybe he did in season 2. Which unfortunately isn't on DVD. And with this set coming out 2 years ago... I doubt we will see season 2 released.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Complete Fifth Season: Disc 2
5. SWAP MEET
Grissom and Sara investigate the murder of a woman after a swap party where the married couples in the neighborhood meet and switch partners. Nick & Warrick investigate the murder of a landlord killed by a band saw. With the help of a crime scene cleaner, they find there was more to their crime scene than they first thought. Ecklie is promoted and Catherine wants a promotion to day shift supervisor.

6. WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRISSOM?
The killer from The Execution of Catherine Willows returns with deadly results. The entire team is engaged in a race against time to stop this sadistic killer from succeeding again. Grissom is additionally distraugh by the idea that this killer is smarter than he is.

7. FORMALITIES
Grissom is called to a murder of a 17-year-old in a casino penthouse. Sophia Curtis (Louise Lombard) joins him in his research, she normally works in the day-shift. The entire team gets involved when its discovered that a kiddnapping took place along with the murder.

8. CH-CH-CHANGES
A woman who was pulled over by police is found murdered two miles up the road from the stop. It's not long before Robbins determines that the woman is, genetically speaking, not a woman.

My Thoughts:
Just finished the second disc of season 5. I am still enjoying every minute of this series... which I think is very cool considering this is the 5th season. I had to laugh at the first episode on this disc. An episode where a group of neighbors have a swinger party once a month. It seems they wanted to have a little fun with this... and named the neighbors after classic sitcom families. First there was Brady (The Brady Bunch of course)... then there was Cunningham (Happy Days)... and then it was topped off with Keaton (Family Ties). So yes... I did get a kick out of that.

the last episode on this disc (CH-CH-CHANGES) is the 100th episode of the series. I notice that usually shows go all out to try to bring you a special episode for their 100th.  In this case it was good... I did enjoy it... but I didn't see nothing special about it. I don't know... maybe it is because I am enjoying this series so much that I expected a little more then I should have from it. But over all... I continue to enjoy every episode.

7. The New Neighbors

My Thoughts:
I just finished the first disc of this classic sitcom. When I ordered this set I was a little worried about how well it would hold up for me. But there was no need to worry. I enjoyed every second of watching this disc. There was several moments that I literally laughed out loud watching.  Matter of fact... Brittany watched a couple episodes with me... and she got laughing so hard at it that I literally had to pause the DVD just so she could calm down and catch her breath.  I was also concerned on how well the audio/video quality would be on this set. Even though there was some particles and a scratch here and there in some episodes... over all I was really impressed with the quality. I had a lot of fun getting re-acquainted with this series and look forward to watching the next 4 discs full of episodes.

4. Summary Judgment

On Halloween, Faith meets and falls for a guy named Paolo. Hope, of course, thinks that he is just another idiot, leading her on a spy caper to find out. Back at home, Sydney gives Hayley tips on how to attract her math partner.

My Thoughts:
This is a series I bought blind after hearing about our good friend Roger enjoying his copy. Watching the first couple episodes I must admit that I was a little disappointed. But by the third episode I found myself getting into it a bit more. By the end of this first disc I felt I enjoy it enough to look forward to watching the rest of the set. I wouldn't say it is my favorite sitcom... but it definitely has it's moments. Enough of them that at this point if they were to release the rest of the series... I would buy them. So I am definitely not sorry I picked this set up.

My Thoughts:
I got this set in the mail yesterday afternoon... and I already finished the entire season set! I don't know what it is about this series. It really is pretty silly... but for some reason I really get a kick out of it. And for some reason... once I start watching a set I have a hard time stopping until I finish it. I also gotten the season 5 set yesterday... and I now have a strong urge to watch that one as well.

Scrubs: The Complete Fifth Season
Make an appointment with the outrageous doctors of Sacred Heart. Garnering an Emmy® Award nomination for Best Comedy Series, Scrubs' fifth season is "sillier and more whimsical than ever," raves Newsday.

This year, the laughs are off the charts as J.D. moves in with Turk and Carla, and Elliot uses an interesting form of blackmail in order to get her job back at the hospital.

Jason Bateman and Cheryl Hines are just some of the sensational guest stars joining TV's quirkiest cast. Experience all 24 episodes, plus exclusive bonus features, including a never-before-seen extended cut of the 100th episode. It's just what the doctor ordered.

EPISODES:
1. My Intern's Eyes
2. My Rite of Passage

19. His Story III
20. My Lunch
21. My Fallen Idol
22. My Déjà Vu, My Déjà Vu
23. My Urologist
24. My Transition

My Thoughts:
Went ahead and watched Season 5 over the last couple days. While I still enjoyed it very much... this wasn't a favorite season of mine. I don't know why... I guess it seems the quality of the episodes went down just a hair. Looks like this is the beginning of the end... even though they must have tried to keep it around as long as possible. After this season there was one more full season... followed by 3 much shorter seasons. I definitely want to keep collecting at this point. Matter of fact... I would like to get the next season as soon as possible... what with the way this season ended I definitely want to see where they go with it.

9. Phone Home for the Holidays
Jack, Hope & Faith's father pays them a visit with his same-age girlfriend. Hope & Faith approve of their dad's new girlfriend, Summer that is until she reveals a secret about being kidnapped by aliens. Meanwhile, Jack wants to test out his skills as a masseur, on a creeped out Charley.

10. Anger Management
At Justin's basketball game, with an idea of good sportsmanship, Hope tries to confront overzealous mom, Sue. The ensuing events land Hope and Faith in anger management, to get out of going to court.

11. Silent Night, Open Night
Faith thinks she's going back to "The Sacred & The Sinful" but her character Ashley Storm has been recast. Faith is disappointed and to help her, Hope suggests directing Hayley's school play. Faith agrees but ends up causing chaos.

12. The Wedding
Charley gets a visit from his family as his brother is getting married to his Swedish fiancee, Astrid. However the following morning, too many drinks with Faith leaves Astrid missing.

My Thoughts:
This series is starting to grow on me a bit more. I enjoyed this second disc quite a bit. This disc has 2 holiday episodes. First there is the Thanksgiving episode Phone Home for the Holidays... which I enjoyed every second of. I especially liked that they had a special guest star of Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) as the new woman Hope & Faith's father is seeing. Then there is the Christmas episode Silent Night, Open Night where Faith helps with one of the kids' school play. As I said... the show is starting to grow on me... so I am looking forward to watching the final two discs in this set.

Hope & Faith: Season 1: Disc 3
13. Madam President
Hope runs for President of the Neighborhood Association, taking Faith on board as her campaign manager. However the plans backfire when they go up against neighbor Harry who threatens to release one of Faith's sexy movies unless Hope backs out of the race.

14. The Diner Show
Faith learns a famous director from Cleveland is in Glenn Falls and plans to meet him (with Hope) at a local diner. However they are forced to become waitresses after they learn that they can't pay off their meal. And to further complicate things, Faith has to compete against another waitress, Marge for the attentions of the director.

15. Mismatch
Faith falls for Kenny, Charley's friend from medical school. However there's a catch that forces Hope to bring Faith to a camping trip.

16. Charley's Baseball

17. Prom & Circumstances (Almost Paradise)
Hope and Faith try to help Sydney, which results in the damaging of Charley's vintage convertable. In order to get the repair done before Charley notices, the girls must go to the prom with the mechanics, who also happen to have been classmates of theirs with unrequited love. There's one catch: the guys are trapped in the year 1985 and it becomes the date from hell.

18. Jury Duty
Hope is selected for jury duty and Faith decides to tag along. However, Faith wreaks havoc in court, even turning herself into a judge.

19. Faith's Maid
Olga, Faith's former maid, comes to move in with the family. Hope fires her, but Olga misunderstands and invites her pregnant daughter to join them. Soon, their efforts to find new jobs ends up with Hope and Faith working at a club Charley wants to join.

My Thoughts:
Still enjoying this show... though by this episode I can pretty much say it will never be one of my favorites... but it is worth the time put in to watch it. This show does seem to usually be good for some decent guest stars. On this disc we see Mimi Rogers, Kathy Lee Gifford, Kevin Sorbo and Roger Clemens. I think my favorite episode on this disc would have to be Jury Duty. In the last episode (Faith's Maid) they were obviously doing their own take of the I Love Lucy skit where Lucy and Ethel was working at the candy factory. But these two are really out of their league when it comes to doing a skit made famous by Lucy.

But the Defenders of the Earth led by legendary crime-fighters The Phantom, Flash Gordon, Mandrake and his trusted confidant and bodyguard Lothar join forces with their uniquely talented teenage children to challenge Ming and his evil followers in a series of great adventures.

The dazzling quartet of heroes is joined by their young offspring: handsome and headstrong Rick Gordon; Jedda Walker and her panther sidekick; tough and smart Lothar "L.J." Jr.; and orphaned Kshin with his outer-space pet Zuffy. Together, the team of heroes must battle against evildoers from their pasts and future, including Ming and his underlings, as well as super villains, marauding aliens, destructive demons and sultry enchantresses! United as a team, they protect mankind as the Defenders of the Earth.

Both sides employ powerful computers and space age technology in their arsenals of weapons. They are our last best hope. For a frightened but determined planet they are the Defenders of the Earth.

Episodes
1. Escape from Mongo
2. The Creation of Monitor
3. A Demon in his Pocket
4. A Hole Divided
5. Family Reunion
6. Bits 'N' Chips

My Thoughts:
This is a show I bought on a whim when I seen it on sale very cheap. I remembered seeing this on the original airing back in the mid '80s... and remembered enjoying it well enough to make it worth a purchase. I am enjoying it even more then I remembered. The Phantom is my favorite of the superheroes on this show. I also like how this show is more then the four superheroes... that they each have a teen kid to help them on the way. The episodes I watched today are from the first side of disc 1.

Hope & Faith: Season 1: Disc 4
20. Hope Gets a Job

Jack returns to be comforted by his daughters after being jilted by his fiancee. Faith tries to set him up with her friend Mandi's mother, but he falls for Mandi instead. When Mandi refuses to end the relationship, Faith tries to teach her a lesson by going out with her father.

23. Trade Show
Faith's obsession for watching old episodes of her soap opera lead to her replacement and her love interest, Devon, making fun of her on-air. Fed up with this, Charley insists she contributes to the household and makes her find a job.

24. Daytime Emmys Part One
Faith and her co-stars from the soap are nominated for a Daytime Emmy and flies to New York City with the family for the ceremony.

25. Daytime Emmys Part Two
Faith's mentor, Jacqueline Karr and ex producer Laura Levisetti reveal a secret plan to replace bring her back to replace her replacement.

My Thoughts:
I decided to finish off this set over the last couple days.  As I have said... this show has grown on me quite a bit. I won't say it is a favorite sitcom... but it is worth the time to put into it to watch it. Even though I doubt any more seasons of this one will be released now... if they were I would continue to collect the show. Though I would wait for a decent price to do so. The season finale wasn't all that great to me since I am not a fan of Soap Operas. Though I am sure the 2 part finale did have some big soap stars in it. They aren't anyone I would recognize.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: The Complete Fifth Season: Disc 3
9. MEA CULPA
Grissom is confronted with new evidence while on the stand of a murder trial of a restaurant owner. Warrick investigates the death of a John Doe killed by a modified semi automatic weapon, which goes off accidentally in the lab. The new evidence in the murder trial requires the reopening of the case and Eckley initiates an inquiry into Grissom and his team. The results of the inquiry lead to dramatic changes of the CSI team and the series.

10. NO HUMANS INVOLVED
Grissom and his team investigate the starving death of a five year old boy. They discover the boy has siblings who are in danger too. Catherine and her team determine who killed a prisoner in a holding cell brawl.

11. WHO SHOT SHERLOCK?
Greg, for his final proficiency, has to determine how the Sherlock Holmes of a Sherlock Holmes club was killed. Nick and Warrick try to determine how the driver of jeep was killed when the car ran off the road. They have to do this under budget while Catherine is watched by Ecklie.

12. SNAKES
The swing shift has a busy time. Warrick looks into the murder of man by someone who apparently needs a wheelchair. Nick looks into the murder of woman in the subculture of the narcocorrido, songs about drug murders. The night shift is slow and lends help to Catherine's team.

My Thoughts:
I am still enjoying this series very much. I feel it is definitely better then CSI: NY. Though the episodes on this disc wasn't quite as good as previous episodes... they are still good enough to keep my attention through-out. I think in the case of this disc my favorite episode has to be Who Shot Sherlock? Which I felt was the stand out episode of the above four. They did a good job on that one making they mystery a bit more tough. And rightly so since it was about a fantasy group into Sherlock Holmes.
