If that isn't disruptive enough, Reba learns that her 17-year-old daughter is pregnant too. So it's out with the old and in with the new as hubby leaves and son-in-law arrives. Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete First Season
Larry David, co-creator and executive producer of the long-running hit comedy series "Seinfeld," tackles a new subject - himself. He's got it all: a loving wife, good friends, a successful career, a great home...what could go wrong for Larry David?

Surrounded by an eclectic mix of real and fictional re-creations of his friends, acquaintances and outright enemies, prone to speaking the unspeakable, and honest to the point of insensitivity, Larry David is a walking victim of misunderstandings and missed opportunities.

Episodes Watched:
1. The Pants Tent
2. Ted and Mary
3. Porno Gil
4. The Bracelet
5. Interior Decorator

My Thoughts:
This is my first time seeing anything on this series. It is a bit different then the comedies I normally watch... but I enjoyed it very much. I gotten into it so much that I couldn't stop at just an episode or two... I ended up watching half the season before I was able to tear myself away from it. It is just too bad that the seasons are so short... only 10 episodes per season... for each of the first 5 seasons I have anyway.

I must say... I forgot how much fun this series is. These episodes were full of laughs. It is going to be fun catching up on this series again!

I really want to watch this show. I love Ellens talk show and watch it almost every day, but I have only seen one or two episodes of this sitcom, and it was a long time ago. I remember it being quite funny though.

I use to watch it when it was first on TV; it was a pretty decent show.
I was surprised that people were so shocked when she came out. I thought it was pretty obvious.

When was Ellen shown on Australian TV? What years etc? I was probably too young to remember.
I do like Ellen though, and to this day my only claim to fame is that I live in the town where Portia de Rossi (DeGeneres) grew up  ;).
She even went to the rival school of my own (Guy Pearce went to my school).

I think Ellen was shown in Australia during the mind-late 90s. I'm not sure when It finished. I don't mind her, but my favourite female comedian is Sarah Silverman.

Sarah Silverman is pretty awesome. Although I haven't seen nearly as much of her stuff as I should have.

Also, do you ever watch The 7pm Project? Whenever Kitty Flanagan is on that I am always left in stitches with laughter. That woman makes me laugh every time.

Ellen: The Complete Season Two: Volume 1
Ellen has never been accused of being unfunny, but watch how competitive she gets with Adam's witty friend Theresa in "So Funny!"

THE DENTIST
Ellen's flirtations with an attractive dentist go awry when she inhales laughing gas.

SAINT ELLEN
After crashing a party meant for charity, Ellen goes on a volunteering rampage.

SO FUNNY
When Adam's friend Theresa pays a visit, Ellen gets jealous over how funny she is.

THE THIRTY-MINUTE MAN
Ellen is let down by her new beau when she discovers he's a pizza delivery guy.

THE NOTE
When she finds written proof that someone dislikes her, Ellen spies on her reading group.

THE FIX-UP
Romancing a man she once remembered to be weird, Ellen comes across as the oddball.

THE TOAST
Ellen unintentionally breaks up her brother and his bride-to-be at their rehearsal dinner.

ADAM'S BIRTHDAY
Convinced that Ellen is cramping his style, Adam moves out.

My Thoughts:
I Just watched the first disc of season 2. I am still enjoying it quite a bit. This season brought on some changes... no more Anita or Holly.... Ellen bought the bookstore. And as of the last episode on the disc Adam got his own place... so now Ellen is living alone. Some of the differences seems a little strange... a bit difficult to get used to. But over all still a fun series.

Hearts Afire: The Complete First Season (Disc 1)
Beloved funnyman John Ritter and Night Court's Markie Post heat up the screen in this irresistible TV comedy!  One of the best series of the '90s, HEARTS AFIRE ignites laughter with its sizzling chemistry, razor-sharp dialogue and stellar cast, including the Oscar-winning Billy Bob Thornton as Ritter's best friend.

Set in Washington, D.C., Ritter is John Hartman, a senator's aide and divorced dad who lives and works strictly by the book…except when it comes to brand-new press secretary Georgie Lahti (Post), a sassy, risk-taking rebel.  They couldn't be more different, yet when the sparks fly, a passionate romance develops that changes their lives.  Adding to the craziness, the couple must cope with Lahti's ex-con dad (Ed Asner), Billy Bob's estranged wife (Wendie Jo Sperber), Bosom Buddies) and their slightly scatterbrained boss (George Gaynes, Tootise).  Includes all 23 episodes of this warm and witty series' unforgettable first season.

Episodes Watched:
1. Bees Can Sting You, Watch Out (Part 1)
2. Bees Can Sting You, Watch Out (Part 2)
3. The Big Date
4. Three Men and a Bed
5. John's Stallion
6. First Time

My Thoughts:
This is a show I watched all the time when it originally aired. But this is the first I am seeing of it since. I remembered really enjoying this series back then. But it either wasn't as good as I remembered it being... or it didn't hold up too well to the test of time. Don't get me wrong... I still enjoyed it quite a bit. It just wasn't as funny as I remembered. Though I do like both John Ritter and Markie Post. One thing I never understood about this show. How the two was instantly attracted to each other... and  fall in love in no time... but yet they still insist on calling each other by their last names. I don't know... that is just something that strikes me as weird. But over-all I still enjoy the show... and glad I finally have the series in my collection.

Batman The Brave and the Bold Volume 1
Nothing stops Batman and his quest for justice in these four action-packed episodes from the thrilling new series!  Allied with DC Super Heros Aquaman, Plastic Man, Blue Beetle and Red Tornado, Batman faces villainous masterminds, intergalictic crooks and evil dictators in out-of-this-world adventures that take him through a wormhole, to the depths of the ocean and on a Christmastime crimestopping campaign against an army of toys!  This fresh version of the legendary hero mixes the cool, confident "Bats" (as he's known to his buddies) with high-stakes peril and awesome showdowns for universe-shaking excitement you can't miss!

Episodes
Rise of the Blue Beetle!
Terror on Dinosaur Island!
Evil Under the Sea!
Invasion of the Secret Santas!

My Thoughts:
After watching the Christmas episode... I just couldn't help myself I had to check out more of this series and make a decision on what I thought of it.I am still trying to get used to a Batman that has somewhat of a sense of humor. But other then that I really enjoyed it.The Christmas episode is my least favorite on this disc. My favorite on this disc is Rise of the Blue Beetle!... I found I really liked The Blue Beetle. A superhero I didn't even know before seeing him on this disc. Anyway... as I said.. I enjoyed it. I definitely wouldn't mind getting some more episodes on DVD.

Battlestar Galactica: Season One: Disc One
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: MINISERIES
Forty years after the Cylon Wars, humanity's deadliest enemies have reemerged with a vengeance. In a sudden, devastating nuclear attack, the Cylon robots - who have now taken human form - wipe out billions of people. Only a handful of Colonial forces are left to shepherd the few survivors to safety. Commander William Adama, the highest-ranking military officer left alive, reactivates the Battlestar Galactica  to once again face humanity's greatest nemeses.

Outnumbered and outarmed, Adama reluctantly concedes that the newly sworn-in President Laura Roslin is correct - this battle was lost before it had begun. With no choice but to flee, the ragtag fleet of survivors and humanity's only hope set out in search of the mythic 13th Colony of Kobol... a legendary planet known as Earth.

My Thoughts:
My first taste of Battlestar Galactica... and I definitely enjoyed it. I am looking forward to watching the rest of the series. This show starts on a miniseries... so this one took me just over 3hrs to watch. So there was some scenes that I felt to be a little on the slow side. Not bad mind you... just a long start to the series. Don't let that fool you though... there is a lot of great sci-fi action as well. Just going by this miniseries I can see how this series became as popular as it has.
