Topic: Another newbie :)

Hey guys! I've been a lurker of this board since around December, so thought it was about time I joined and introduced myself 
I'm Rhona (on the left in my profile pic), and I'm a 19yr old 2nd year Virology student from Glasgow. I'd consider myself a fairly casual DVD collector until recently - I have around 135 items, around 60 of which have been purchased since the start of 2010    When I'm not collecting or watching dvds, I enjoy spending too much money on handbags, horseriding, walking my dog and nights out clubbing.
My favourite films are the Jurassic Park franchise, because I love dinosaurs!
I especially love watching TV on dvd, at the moment I'm working my way through Buffy for the 3rd time, Friends for the 2nd and American Dad for the 1st.
My best DVD bargain was my most recent purchase, The Farrelly Brother's Twisted Comedy 5 movie boxset for £2.70 off ebay, and my most expensive item is my Buffy box set. @ £72 in April 2008.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.. with regards to balancing conversation, I can offer my views on spending too much money on clothes or the virulence of different Ebola strains, take your pick  
Also, I totally wanted to be a paleontologist until I took an Earth Science course at uni...total snoozefest   but I can't deny being a total proud dino geek
Kathy - I'm pretty sure I just googled "dvd collectors/collections" one day out of sheer boredom, and this was the most active forum that was displayed - I think I was specifically looking for photos of peoples collections at the time?
