Oh no! Quick! Everyone re-post your congratulations to Halo2, because he'll come back and think no gave a damn, but they were lost in the Great Crash of 2008...  :P

Not necessary. I saw at least some and responded, but the responses seem to have been lost as well. Let's hope this is the only "Great Crash of 2008".

The wife is still on a business trip and won't be home until Tuesday evening. I'll be online until at least then. We have another couple that share the same wedding month, just a year earlier for the actual wedding, that are up from southern Oregon. Our plans may change. We have known them since the early 80's and have crossed paths repeatedly in the military. We remain close, we attended all three of their daughter's weddings and lived near her parents home in southern Oregon after getting out of the military. They are up through Saturday and we may cancel our trip to Victoria. I await the wife's decision.

Fair enough then. At least you're getting a few days peace, eh?  ;)

Don’t know that I would call it peace. With her gone for 18 days out of this month, expectations were set a bit higher than a normal month or a non-travel month. But hey, things are looking good, I’ve remembered to water the plants, none have died, all the laundry is done, the dishes are all clean, the floors are swept, the carpets are vacuumed and (joke mode on) my girl friend left me because I’ve been spending too much time on cleaning the house (joke mode off).

 :)

:bag:

I was trigger happy with the Population button (it's more fun, really) and ended up overlooking the drop in Transportation. I am back on top of it now...

We have fallen from a high of 154 to currently being at 179. We have several new members. We need all members, new and old to help us surge forward and break through 150 even into double digits.

I have a confession to make. I haven't clicked on any on the links since I've come back from my vacation.

To be perfectly honest, I've never seen any point in this game (is there one?) but I clicked dutifully nonetheless. But after the vacation it totally slipped my mind.

I see a poll coming...

On the other hand, seeing how we only slipped slowly since 3 (three!) members stoppped clicking, imagine how how we could get if everyone helps...

But I admit, I will agree with the poll either way :P

I wasn't trying to chastise anyone and apologize if it appeared that way. Life gets in the way of things for all of us. This includes me.

Yes, as a game, it is pointless. I see it more as a friendly competition between groups to see who can grow their city to the largest and try to stay near or at the top.
