I haven't decided yet... but I am toying with the idea of watching something in between each movie this weekend. If I do I have several choices of what I could possibly do...

- Movie Serial Chapters
- Max Fleischer's Superman shorts
- Three Stooges shorts
- Little Rascals shorts

thoughts?

I would watch something you haven't seen. As far as which films - go with the flow!

Or, write each of the titles on a piece of paper, put them in a box, shake it up and draw a title...surprise yourself!

You can always watch a horror movie, I can't believe there are any on your unwatched pile!?! :o

 Most the horror movies up there are ones from that 50 movie boxset of (very) low budget horror I bought last October. Though there is a few other ones there as well. Other low budget sets I have.. and what I recently just gotten (The Unborn just arrived the other day).

But yeah... just going to go with the flow on the movies. I just still need to decide if I want to watch a short between each movie or not.

Theater of Blood!  You have to see this one!  I have no other suggestions...well, maybe one John Wayne movie.  And maybe the version of White Zombie I sent you.  I know you watched it once and disliked it but via a pathetic print.  The one I sent you is much better so you might enjoy it better if you watched that copy.

And never ever watch Jaws: The Revenge!

Not yet... I've too many unwatched adult movies to check for my blog, but I can try some movies from the boxset I've bought for the last halloween marathon this weekend. Maybe we should try Curse of Pirate Death, it looks as bad as Lizzie Borden :hmmmm:

My Thoughts:
This movie is from a cheap 10 movie horror boxset I got long time ago called Tales of Terror. Unfortunately since it is in a cheap boxset the quality leaves some to be desired. I felt like I was watching an old VHS tape. After watching this movie I am really having a hard time reviewing it. As the movie itself is a bit on the confusing side... especially the ending. The acting could have been better... though not so bad that it was hard to watch. I was really feeling a bit on the disappointed side watching this one... as it seemed slow and pretty boring. there was one scene I did quite enjoy though... a scene in a movie theater. But it really wasn't enough to bring this movie up in scale past just an average movie.

Out of a Possible 5

Deleted Scenes

My Thoughts:
This is one I been waiting to watch this weekend. I blind bought this movie when I saw the trailer which looked good. I enjoyed the movie... though it is a bit on the predictable side. It has some cool effects in it... and utilizes that jump scene scare a little more then I would have liked. Every review I read for this movie was bad... so I didn't go into it expecting too much... and maybe that helped me some. This is a good (but not great) movie. But that is ok. I feel I got more then my money worth with this one. (though I did only pay $1 for it).

The little boy in this movie looked very familiar. I wasn't sure from where at first... then it hit me. The TV sitcom The Middle starring Patricia Heaton (An average sitcom) The little boy in this movie plays her youngest son Brick in the sitcom. The little boy that is always whispering to himself.

Title: The River: Legend Of La Llorona
Year: 2005
Director: Terrence Williams
Rating: R
Length: 77 Min.
Video: Pan & Scan 1.33:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital Stereo
Subtitles: N/A

Stars:
Will Morales as Miguel
Mary Sanchez as Ann Marie
Denise Gossett as Mary
Joel Bryant as Sam
Carrie Wallace as Luciana

Plot:
The urban legend of La Llorona (Spanish for The Weeping Lady), comes to life in this morbid tale about a monstrous and vengeful boogey woman. This sad and love-scorned woman wanders near bodies of water and wails into the night for her lost children, who she drowned after being spurned and deserted by their father. Miguel, a mercenary, soon learns that La Llorona is anything but a legend, discovering that cashing in might mean cashing out.

Extras:
Scene Access

My Thoughts:
This is from another cheap horror boxset I have called Hostile Hauntings. So of course I went into this one expecting much of nothing. Though the overview did sound interesting... as I liked the idea of the storyline. But unfortunately they just weren't able to pull it off. Not the writing, not the acting... not even the cinematography as most of the movie was so dark that you could barely see what was on the screen. It basically felt like a homemade movie done in someone's back yard with a camcorder. It is a shame as I did like the idea for the story. I would like to see what a cast and crew with a decent budget could do with the basic idea of this movie. Rating this movie the best I can do is give it a half of a point for the idea. The rest of it is snooze-worthy.

Title: Messiah of Evil

Give it another chance and try to get the version released by Code Red last year. It's like watching a different movie since it was mastered from the original negative (at least you understand what happen on the screen). This isn't for nothing if this film is considered one of the best horror film of the seventies Pete... Even better the official release from Code Red doesn't had the awfull song.

You're right about the theatre scene it's a great one very well set.
