In Out of the Past, Jeff Bailey (Robert Mitchum) is standing by a running stream contemplating the mess he's gotten himself into with Kathy (Jane Greer). Unbeknownst to him, Joe Stephanos (Paul Valentine) is standing on a ledge above him, about to shoot him. The Kid (Dickie Moore) sees the peril Jeff is in, and uses something unique to snag Joe's coat and pull him off the ledge. Looks like my run ends here. I don't have a clue. To me, Sunset Blvd. is a very depressing movie for personal reasons. Whenever I try to watch it, I just can't get into it.
