OK, I've tossed this around in my head and I've decided not to deduct the points from your score Rogmeister.

You were partially right, and someone else gave me the complete name before you were able to be more specific with your answer.

I'm just too nice a guy, I guess.  ;)

In the category Ghoulish Greats for 500 points...

In House of Wax (1953), Vincent Price starred as Prof. Henry Jarrod, the curator of a wax museum which displayed characters from history who met untimely deaths. As the film progresses, we find out that Jarrod uses real human beings, dipped in melted wax to create the waxen sculptures.

In the early part of the film, Cathy Gray (Carolyn Jones), is abducted and cast as a famous historical heroine. Her friend Sue Allen (Phyllis Kirk) visits the museum and proclaims that the wax statue of this famous historical character is her friend.

What famous historical character is Cathy representing in the museum?

That is incorrect. You lose 500 points.

Marie Antoinette was the character that Price was going to turn Phyllis Kirk into.

It doesn't look like anyone's going to get this one, so Critter, I need you to select a category and point value again.

The answer to the previous question was Joan of Arc

In The Omen, David Warner plays Keith Jennings, a photographer/reporter who helps Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck), unravel the mystery of Thorn's child. As they get close to the evidence, Jennings meets his demise by being decapitated. What is the object that severs his head from his body?

 :surrender:

I'll hand this one over to the others.

You know I really don't understand why I keep picking Ghoulish Greats when horror films are probably my least watched of ALL genres as I am generally too much as a wimp to deal with them. ::)

I couldn't repeat any of it, but I once read a review how the entire movie hinges around that scene and how taking it out (like they do on german TV ::)) is like castration to the film.

"b-dong, b-dong, b-dong, b-dong..." is the sound I imagine it was making... :o

The 80s for 500

And damn if I didn't think of Joan of Arc and dismissed it. :bag:
