One of the strangest dance routines in Academy Award history featured Rob Lowe. He was accompanied by a fairy tale character. Which fairy tale character was it?

I have to get offline for at least an hour now so I'll go ahead and pick a category I probably wouldn't do well at anyway...Ghoulish Greats for $100.

Actually, I didn't word this question correctly, but after giving it some thought, I'm going to award you the 100 points.

The actual answer I was looking for was 'snow static'. But because I didn't elaborate it better in my question, your answer is technically right. She comes down stairs after the National Anthem has finished playing on the screen.

Pick the next category and amount please.

I'm shocked I got that right!  Maybe this category isn't so bad so let's stick with Ghoulish Greats...go to the next available clue...200 points?

Damn it! I just jumped into this thread and was going to say TV static. I even had it typed down but then I remembered that I wasn't officially a part of this comp thing.

In the movie Phantasm, the mortuary is protected by small cylindrical flying devices that chase down trespassers. When the orbs have almost reached the intruders, small protruding blades emerge from within and the entire orbs impales itself into a specific area of the intruder. Which part of the body does it affix itself to. You must be specific.
