With the Oscars right around the corner, and almost everyone here writing reviews of films, I thought it would be fun to see what everyone felt about past winners, and those that maybe should have won.
Starting with last year's awards, I will create a separate poll thread with the five films that were nominated during that year. You'll either choose the film that did win or pick the film you think should have won amongst the other four along with a detailed explanation as to why that film deserved it. After I feel a thread's discussion has petered out, I will post the previous year's winner and nominees and we'll start anew.
This thread will be used to link each year's discussion thread.
