can't solve this riddle:

I am sending this to the ones I feel can solve this 5th grade question.

Okay, when you get your answer, you have to open the attachment. The
password is the answer. If you get it right, it will open and you can
save your name on the document and foward it along. Have fun and good

RIDDLE:

There is one bus with seven girls in it.
Each girl has 7 backpacks and each backpack has seven big cats.
Each big cat has seven little cats. How many legs are there all
together?

This is the password needed to open the attachment, just type in the
number as the password. =============

Forget what I wrote, I made a mistake

7 Girls, 2 legs each = 14.

Each has 7 packs with 7 cats and each cats has 7 baby cats.  Thats 7x7x7x7 = 2401

2401 times 4 legs = 9604 + 14 (Girls legs) = 9618

9620 if you include the bus driver

49 backpacks with 7 big cats each = 343 big cats
343 big cats with 7 little cats = 2401 little cats

7 girls = 14 legs
343 big cats = 1372 legs
2401 little cats = 9604 legs

nope.....this is what's been killing me and the fiance for the last hour...read it over and over,,,tried all combinations as well as "the password" and "the answer"

it could be a play on the question

could mean that the word "this" is the password?
Or could mean you type in "the number" as the password
