I paid $20 for this set. So I am not too worried that I will find enough in the set to make the purchase worth it. But is there anything about that I should look forward to seeing? That you would recommend me checking out as soon as possible?

This is the one I own.

Creepers (american cut version of Dario Argento's Phenomena with more than 30 minutes cut)
Curse of the Headless Horseman (not great, kind of Scooby doo at the old amusement park)
Eegah (Stupid but fun... Watch out for snakes!!!)
Horror of the Zombies (Worst entry in The Blind Dead franchise in english, no idea if it's cut)
Horrors of Spider Island (fun german early exploitation film, not really scary but some nice looking girl)
Invasion of the Bee Girls (fun one depending of the quality of the print used)
The Legend of Bigfoot (probably the Ivan Marx documentary, not that credible but interesting)
Manos: The Hands of Fate (very fun one that you can't take seriously, The Master won't approve!)
Night Train to Terror (it's a weird one who mix 2 different movies with a new linking segment)
A Passenger to Bali (boring old TV stuff...)
Shock (an early film of Vincent Price, never watch)
Sisters of Death (good idea but badly executed because it's a PG movie, my review)
Snowbeast (made for TV movie that I haven't really liked, my review)
Teenage Zombies (dated horror movie but fun if you don't expect too much)
Unsane (american version of Dario Argento's Tenebre with 10 minutes cut)
War of the Robots (stupid science fiction movie)
The Wasp Woman (dated but a nice Roger Corman film)
The Murder Mansion (Slow moving movie from Spain, Badly dud and with a very bad print too bad I'm sure the original spanish version is better)

Kind of sad that Scream Bloody Murder, Metamorphosis, Naked Massacre, Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory, Horror Express, Funeral Home and Silent Night, Bloody Night who appear in others Mills Creek's movie set aren't included in this one...

That actually look like a great set and im very tempted by it, the only problem is I hate double sided discs.

Thanks Jimmy... There is a few here I am looking forward to checking out.

- The Ape Man... a Bela Lugosi movie that a friend of mine said was good
- The Bat (1920 Silent Version)... I enjoyed the remake that Vincent Price did... so interested in seeing this one.
- The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari... I was told this one is good too.
- Curse of the Headless Horsemen... I always liked the Headless Horseman story... I am hoping this one will be worth a laugh or two over it... not expecting the movie to be good!
- The Devil's Messenger... an Anthology Horror hosted by Lon Chaney, Jr.
- The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave... Another one I was told was good.
- Night Train to Terror... another Anthology horror, and I love my Anthologies!
- Tales of Frankenstein... This is actually a 30min TV show pilot that was never bought by the networks.

Emma...
I got used to double sided discs a long time ago... but I would prefer single sided discs if I had the choice.

While talking to another friend in one of the yahoogroups I belong to he asked if I like someone by the name of Tod Slaughter. I never heard of him before... he must not rank up there with Price, Legosi and Karloff? He also mentioned someone by the name of Arch Hall, Jr. and I am not familiar with him either.

I got my first look at disc one of this set when I wanted to start profiling it a little. Going by the first disc the quality leaves a LOT to be desired! Hopefully they are not all going to be as bad as the first disc!

Don't expect a lot of improvment... They aren't too bad now (at least for the 50 movies pack I bought last year), but most of the materials came from their old 50 packs (Chilling Classic, Science fiction classic, creature from outer space(??), Drive-in classic, ...) and usually you got 5 surprisingly good in term of print quality with at least 30 awfull VHS transfert and 5 completly unwatchable...

Sometimes the scariest part with their dvd is the sound they do in the dvd reader. I've never hear anything turn as fast as those 50 dvd-pack dvd in my computer dvd drive...
