I think the October Horror marathon is the only community marathon I do not participate. If I remember correctly, I tried last year, but only managed to watch one or two movies fitting the theme.

I am going on "vacation" end of this month, only returning middle of September. So, I cannot participate in either one of those months. Not sure I'll do the horror marathon on October (have I ever :hmmmm:); I like watching horror, not sure I want to push 31 in one month :headscratch:

How about a Bones marathon? I know this is a fairly popular series here. So I was wondering if anyone here felt like a community marathon of the Bones episodes... as I felt in the mood to watch the episodes again here soon. I would be willing to go as fast... or as slow as you all wanted to go with it... if you decided you wanted to do this. Though I couldn't go as far into it as I am sure many of you could as I only own seasons 1-3. Of course season 3 has the first few episodes of season 4... so I could watch those anyway. Hopefully I could get the 4th season before too long.

Thoughts?... anyone up to it... or am I on my own?
Pete

guess not much interest at this time... so I guess I will just do a episode review thread as normal for it. :)

I would, but would struggle to keep up with a TV marathon, reviewing each episode. :training: You do very well with those, Pete, and I'm glad you've gone ahead with your run anyway...

I have 3 seasons of Bones..but I'm not in the mood to watch them.  I think part of the problem is that I'm just generally irritated with the show right now.  They did finally fix one big problem...but other stuff is ticking me off.  I am getting closer and closer to giving up on the show.

Okay so I am thinking of starting a new marathon, but I am going to run it by you guys first to see if you would be interested in seeing it happen or not.

I currently have two marathons here, one is the Buffy one which I will one day finish, I just take long breaks between watching episodes sometimes, and the other is the ongoing animated film one, where I just add a new review each time I watch a new animated film.

I am considering starting an Australian film marathon. I have lived here my whole life but the number of Australian films I have actually seen is embarrasingly low. This would be the same as the animated film marathon, as it will just be ongoing and I add a new review each time I watch a new aussie film, which could be weeks or even months apart.

Would anyone be interested in something like this?

That is a great idea, Sophie. I know a few Australian films, but it would be nice to learn of a few more. :D

Haha, I know hardly any myself. I was just going to go with the Wikipedia 'list of Australian films' and start trying to find titles off it.

This is actually a really gret list to start me off. I have seen a fair few of them, but some of them I haven't watched for years.

You should add Tim to the list.  Not sure it's Mel Gibson's first movie, but it's certainly one of his first.
