Can we make a decision for December marathon, so I can start planning titles?

It seems a choice between....

reverse alphabet marathon - as per november alphabet marathon but the number and letters are at end of title

or

D V D C O L L E C T O R S O N L I N E X M A S M A R A T H O N use each letter as first letter of a title

or

last letter first letter marathon - example troN NorbiT TakeN etc etc

or

Linked marathon - link from film to film in any way you like

My only problem with the second choice you list, Rich, besides the fact that's about 31 movies (even more than we are doing in November) is that there's an "X" in there and I have only 3 "X" movies...all X-Men movies, as you can imagine.  Of course, that's the usual "X" at the beginning of a movie title.  If I got creative as some people are wont to do, I could possible come up with something else...such as the wester TeXas... :D

Out of those choices... I would vote for the 3rd option.

D V D C O L L E C T O R S O N L I N E X M A S M A R A T H O N use each letter as first letter of a title
The suggestion for this one was, that each letter can be used either as last or as the first letter. For an example, see here.

Quote
last letter first letter marathon - example troN NorbiT TakeN etc etc
Even though this has been suggested, it was only because my initial suggestion was misunderstood. I meant this type of marathon to be a alphabet marathon, but instead of using first letter (Standard Alphabet Marathon) or last letter (Reverse Alphabet Marathon), you can use either. E.g. use ''A" as first letter in the title, but "D" as last letter.

Also in the past we had more options open for the Christmas Marathon and everyone could choose the one he/she felt comfortable with. See here.
Maybe we should do something similar. One type which is longer and another type for those, who would like to tackle a shorter marathon.

We could pick up on the Sarah Connor marathon?

Since some more people have gotten S2 yet, how about it?

I'll be ready from next week after I've finished with S5 Lost to join up the marathon

Oh, good, then we are still at least 3, maybe more. One disc per week? Next week refers to starting Jan 25?

Maybe Tom will add reviews t the thread as well?

EDIT:
I opened a thread.

Who is game to do another Alphabet marathon? Or do we have a specific month in which we do this one? I'm not sure.

Well traditionally, the alphabet marathon happened in November the last few years, but I'm game to do it this summer! I have vacation coming so I may actually get through the marathon this time!

I might give it a try. Puts a dent into my viewing of TV series, but I could instead put a dent in the unwatched pile. I may skip a few letters along the way, in order to avoid to just rewatch stuff for the sake of the marathon. You're targeting July, I assume?
