I watched Sherlock Holmes on Blu-ray last night.  Looks amazing.

I've only upgraded a few select DVDs to Blu ray; mostly my hard core science fiction treasures!  There were a few exceptiosn, and I also wound up with two versions of Terminator 2 in Blu ray, because I could not resist the exoskeleton version!  

Can't figure out how to put in the images and info for these so I'll just list them:

 Hal, you should check out It's A Wonderful Life. I felt it was a better image than Casablanca. review in the index, where I was even impressed by the colourised version, good help me!

"It's a Wonderful Life" is an absolute watch every year.  I'll definitely look at the Blu ray review.

But bite your tongue about a colorized version!   

You deserve to be banninated just for suggesting such a thing!

I know. Shameful. But even though you may not agree with the morals of a murderer, you can still admire his skill. This particular victim looked prettier than most.

Well I double dipped again today.  I do think these are going to be awesome on Blu..but I probably shouldn't have splurged. 

I blame Jon.   He's only mentioned 2 of them, but I still blame him.  Yup..not my fault at all.

When i started with Blu, I said to myself I only will buy new films released on Blu, but time proved me so wrong 

With so many nic ebargains, I upgraded  alot

Latest upgrade was Armageddon, a guilty pleasure

Well I did it again.  I have not shown much will power in this issue so far.  
I still blame Jon..  I know he hasn't mentioned these particular movies on Blu, but I have decided that it is still his fault because of how much he talked up other Blu titles and how amazing the movies look on Blu.  Yes...that's the reason.  I have also decided that it will be his fault every time I buy any other Blu-ray...ever.    So now I can buy guilt free.

Anyway..here's what I got.  Slightly different versions and I've been wanting them since I heard about them.  I found them on sale and decided to get them.

I haven't even bought the sixth movie on DVD/Blu... I am now simply waiting for the inevitable 8-set Box Set that should come out in about 2-3 years. If they bring it out next year, with room left for the final film, I may go for that.

I am doing that too, waiting for the entire 8 film box set in blu-ray. Only I've been waiting for a looong time. The only Harry Potter film I have so far is the first one, Philosopher's Stone. I got it when it first came out, and then shortly after I decided that I would rather wait for the box set. 5 films later and I am still waiting haha, I think I'm okay to wait another 2.

I had considered waiting...but..well.  We see how that worked out.   

At least I have resisted Lord of the Rings so far and am still waiting on the extended versions to hit Blu.
