So far I only watched the Miniseries and the first episode of BSG... And I am already enjoying it so much that I will be sure to add Caprica to my collection before too long!

I just looked on Amazon... and I must say I do NOT like how they handled Caprica on DVD! It seems it is only an 18 episode series... and they released them in 2 sets. 9 episodes each. But the worst part...

Caprica: Season 1.0 = $32.99
Caprica: Season 1.5 = $34.99

...almost $70 for an 18 episode series!?!?!?

Make sure to never get into Doctor Who and/or Torchwood and/or The Adventures of Sarah Jane then  :hysterical:

But they did the same thing with Battlestar Galactica for Seasons 2 and 4.

I can deal with them splitting up the seasons. I may not like it but can deal with it. What I can't deal with is charging what would be normally the price of a full season for each half. Making you pay twice as much as you would normally pay for a full season. If they really want to split the seasons... then they should only cost between $15 and $20 each.

While Caprica has been cancelled, another BSG spin-off is apparently in the works, titled BSG: Blood & SandsChrome. Seriously.

Doctor Who is pricey...but I still want it, so I know it just a matter of time before I get them all...and Torchwood..and probably the Adventures of Sarah Jane.
