That looks interesting. I remember reading the Tommorow series when I was younger and quite enjoying them. It's interesting that they have cast that girl from Neighbours in the lead. Can a soap opera actress really hold her own as the lead in a film like this? Who knows, I will probably end up seeing it just to see how it translates from the book.

The blonde guy is from Home & Away, so both major Aussie soaps are covered. ;)

Sometimes it seems that every single Australian actors has done a stint and at least one of those two shows. Even the ones who have made it in Hollywood have most likley been on them.

Since I am at work I only skipped through the trailer. Almost seemed like an update of Red Dawn to me.

Given the date at the end of the trailer Rango seems more of a Must-See movie for 2011 ;)

Really not sure about that. I get the feeling it's a bit Greenberg-ish, which I don't fancy, but it does star Marisa Tomei... :drooling:

The first teaser trailer of "Let Me In", the remake of "Let the Right One In" is available. It stars Hit-Girl Chloe Moretz.

It looks very good, actually. Because it's clearly a shot-for-shot remake! So... what's the point?

The point is Americans have to remake every TV show and film in history. They have already ruined most of Australian and British TV Shows with unnecessary remakes. So why not films as well? Example Death at a Funeral.

The joke is, with Death at a Funeral? A lot of reviews say it's better.  :stars: So we just round and round and round and round and round...

I don't think all remakes are bad things, especiall if it was a film that was considered widley below standard to many people. The American Film industry seems to be remaking even very popular films now though, and only a few years after their original releases. I mean really, is it that hard to watch a film from another country. I can't seem to think of one valid reason why US should feel the need to remake successful films like Death at a Funeral or Let the Right One In. And they do it with TV shows too, I can't even imagine what the US Skins will be like.

I could think of one shot I would imagine will be missing ;)

Besides that, if it is an exact copy, it will have many people disappointed (first time viewers), as the trailer makes it seem way more fast paced than it is.
