As a collector, i was just wondering if there were other people out there who also collect some of the limited edition and extravagant box sets that are available around the place (pretty hard to get in Australia) Post your collection....

I am from australia to so i have to get the large majority of my sets from USA so costs quite a bit more and best by dont ship to australia
and i am mega keen on getting the terminator set of the endo skull with lights and sounds...

First of all, welcome to the forum!

I only have a few collector's editions with additional goodies I own. From the top of my head these are:

King Kong with Kong statue
Dark Knight with bat-bake replica
Blade Runner in the briefcase
Forbiudden Planet tin with Robbi
The Incredibles with Dash doll (pre-order in Taiwan 7-11!)

I am currently considering to get the Terminator head with the T2 Blu-ray and possibly the Amazon exclusive Night Owl ship with Watchmen.

Yeah i was going to get the king kong set but i wasnt that imressed with photos that i saw of the statue...

there are some pretty crazy japan only releases out there with full size figures and stuff but these cost alot to get

Hi everyone!  Back in the earlier days of the format I went for a lot of the 2-disk SE's, especially the Anchor Bay types with the tins and such, but I was always looking for content, not extra collectibles.  I generally just couldn't afford them.  Of course, like everyone I bought the LOTR Collectible boxes though!  I really wish I had the Aliens set with the plastic head though.  THAT was something

Other then the above set I showed... I do have some nice Complete TV Series Boxsets... some fancy cases some not so much but the sets impressed me...



Nothing special came with this set... though I understand the earlier releases of it included a nice book about the Twilight Zone. But it has all 5 seasons, really good quality and a very nice selection of extras.




Basically it is a repackaging of the season set discs... but also comes with a bonus disc with the reunion movies (A Very Brady Christmas & Brady 500) plus a couple of the cartoons (The Brady Kids).



This is one I am still working my way through (I am currently in the early part of season 2). I believe these are also just the season set discs packaged together. Plus a bonus disc.



This is the latest complete series that I got. All 3 seasons of this show I used to watch when I was a little kid. Unfortunately the only extra feature is a sneak peek at the movie version with Will Ferrel.


On this one.. the outside of the cover looks pretty cool... but I don't like how the discs are in this case! Extras wise... just a handful of interviews... one for each episode. It says first season... but it is the only season so is still a complete series set.

And that pretty much covers any cool series packages/sets that I have in my collection.
