RIP Johnathan Winters
(CNN) -- Jonathan Winters, the wildly inventive actor and comedian who appeared in such films as "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" and "The Loved One" and played Robin Williams' son on the TV show "Mork & Mindy," has died. He was 87.
Winters died Thursday evening of natural causes at his home in Montecito, California, according to business associate Joe Petro III.

Allan Arbus
, most know him as Dr. Sidney Freeman on M*A*S*H, others may remember him as Arturo Vitroni, the gangster, in the blaxploitation classic
Coffy
with Pam Grier.

I was shocked yesterday morning when I read that
George Jones
, ol' possum himself, had passed away at the age of 81. George was the perfect country singer and fittingly was the one to record the song many agree is the greatest country song of all time, "He Stopped Loving Her Todsy". I remember a line from a Waylon Jennings song that went "...if we all sang like we wanted to, we'd all sing like George Jones". George has been around my entire life and thanks to my CDs, he'll be here for the rest of my life as well. Rest easy, Possom.

Harryhausen, Bradbury and Ackerman, a trio that formed my childhood. All gone now...
Rest in peace.
