I can recommend the Newsradio series. Phil Hartman is just great in it. I also enjoyed Andy Dick as Matthew. Also Stephen Root (Milton from Office Space) is in the main cast (though his character is quite different, but fun).

Tonight I saw on Facebook that Ellery Queen was the Amazon Gold Box Deal of the Day.  This was a U.S. TV series that lasted just one season.  The set (for today only) was marked at $19.99.  I remember I watched it when it was first on so I'm eager to see it again.  I haven't seen it since it was on...that was, what, about 30-some years ago?  :tv:

I remember enjoying that series too Roger so I picked up that set. I don't remember any of the shows so it will be fun to watch them again.

Today only, the first 4 seasons of Doctor Who are on sale.  Of course this happens after I get the sets.   :laugh:
$31.49 each season...which is pretty good for these sets.

Oops..I meant the first 4.  I was disappointed that it didn't include the newest season since I don't have that one yet.  I just goofed when I typed that.  I fixed the post.  But it is still a good price for the first 4 seasons.

Blu-ray.com reports that there is a Criterion Blu-ray sale at Amazon. My reaction: :weep: (since it's gonna cost me :laugh:). Link. Seems to be approx. $10 off some select titles.

It is not mentioned how long this will last.

EDIT:
it seems some of the items listed at Blu-ray.com have already gone up in price again (e.g. "M" or "Path of Glory"), while others are still as shown. It's probably best to quickly check all items you have on your wish list or are interested in otherwise and order them a.s.a.p.
