The dragon looks great - even the hands! I want to see more. You should post everything in a photo album (or what ever it is called on line) so that we can see everything you've done. Do you only draw fantasy/science fiction etc. or do you draw other things too?

I like the dragon too, but then my favourite art is what might be considered the forerunner of Warcraft, in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons books. My favourite book of all time is The Dragonlance Chronicles and I just love the art from that. Typical artists would be Larry Elmore and Clyde Caldwell if you wanted to look them up.

Here are some low quality samples I found on http://rivendell.fortunecity.com/obsidian/10/dragonlance_art.html

What you might not notice is the "pillar" in the background is actually a huge rope!

That last one is still for me one of the most memorable moments in anything I've read, so I love the image...

Those are amazing Jon. That's just the type of art I like too. I have always loved concept art and illustrations.

I draw all sorts of things Kathy but fantasy/ sci fi is probably my favourite. I like drawing things that don't exist because you can't get them wrong. But aside from fantasy etc I have always drawn a lot of birds and animals.

Q...?

Achim by that I mean I use an edited version of this picture for my signature on this site.
I meant whether it's supposed to be the monster from "Q: The Winged Serpent"...

Oh sorry Achim ha, I didn't get what you were saying. I've never heard of Q but now I really want to see it. So it wasn't based of that monster although I did use some photos of the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings for Reference in certain areas such as the shape of the wing.

So here's a Dragon head I uncovered from 06. I can't believe it was that long ago. I actually remember drawing this guy.

Ha thanks Achim. I probably won't post anything for a while though I'm trying to steer clear of pencil work and break into the digital art realm.
