Well... maybe Invelos is making some headway... Now I am getting this error...

When you try to login to the main site now, you get this message...

We're performing maintenance on Invelos.com.

We expect to return to full functionality at or around
9:30 PM Eastern US time

Please check back later, but in the mean time if you haven't already,
why not download DVD Profiler?

Kathy, were you here during the great scare of 07? Not a fun time.

I just checked and I joined invelos Dec. 28, 2006. But I don't remember what happened...what happened?

I did a mega shot of ...

...in one of those glasses in the picture and the website comes back from the dead. Oh the power of Jäger.

Although I shouldn't have taken those two valiums a couple of hours ago. :drunk:

Kathy,

Pre Invelos there was IVS. DVDP Pro was free and every Wal*Mart had a $5.00 bin. Life was good. Then Ken Cole split from his IVS partners and went solo. Law suits, shut downs, Google searches, court transcripts posted on message boards, rumors, innuendo, dogs and cats living together, all kinds of crap going on for weeks, (or months?). Heck, there were even sites that were created for the sole purpose of attacking one side or the other ( ). Some backed IVS, some backed Ken Cole. Lines were drawn, sides were taken.

I was curled up in a corner with a blanket, a six pack of Red Bull and a laptop for most of it, frantically searching for another program. It's all just a bad memory now and the occasional nightmare where I wake up screaming "Who needs extras... Superbit DVDs ARE better damn it!" but the bottom line is there ARE no other programs.  :fingerchew:

I don't know... Skip has been silent for over a week and now Invelos is down.  :-\    Coincidence?

I noticed that too. Funny thing is, he is indeed only silent, he does log in regularly.

However, few weeks back Ken mentioned that he is now able to semi-ban people, restricting them to the New User forum (well, not exactly, but almost). Maybe... :hmmmm:

Skip isn't banned, he just won't post in the forums anymore.

He didn't throw a tantrum this time, that is why I was guessing he may be reduced to non-posting...
